i was looking through a camera mag hoping to find a snippet about the GS400, then came across this camera that's connected to a stabiliser/steady cam thing, anyone know what it is???

Yes. It's either the NV-MX300 or the 3-chip model it replaced. I can't recall the PAL model #.

thanx frank

i thought they might have used a newer camera but that's cool

the cam looks quite sexy, that's why i asked
and it has black lens housings so it makes it look kinda retro

yeah i'm talking about the on in the center of the page, i know the one up in the top right corner is a nice looking cam, but it was the one mounted on to the ultra-lite is the one i'm refering to. i've never seen it b4, but i guess if it's b4 the MX300 i wasn't really that into cams, last cam we owned b4 that was a National M7, huge mama that was, and i used to get filming duties for that when i was just a youngen!

I assume the one just below "contact." It also can be a Pana AG-EX30U. These Pana's I mentioned so far all look similar. Yet another one would be the Pana PV-DV950, but the site mentions PAL so I assume it cam is a PAL model.

The one on the top right looks like a VX1000.
