Have any of you guys got any good titles of either Websites, Books, Videos or DVDs that will help learn more about the capabilities of the XL1S. I know that experience and playing around with the camera will help improve my skills, but a bit of advice and tuition is always appreaciated. I live in the UK so cannot take up Canons offer of joining the "XL1S club" :-(, and there are a few workshops, butr they all seem to be un the USA.

I have just watch a video that claimed to help me find all the things the XL1S could do. It was told by a few guys, (one sounded like checkoff from Star Trek) but all it did was tell me where the buttons where. it didn`t really go into detail as to what you could achieve by using the controls correctly.

Thanks Muchly

Andy

Birns & Sawyer has a DVD on the XL1S. (See my review (http://www.dvinfo.net/canon/articles/article86.php).) It's probably as good as it gets, although far from truly thorough.

Quite honestly, just experimenting with, and exploring, the camera will serve you pretty well as long as you take notes of your settings and then review the results.
