Although I am happy with my Apex 191, I was quite intrigued at the small cam audio setup from http://www.ambient.de - actually, I never seen it, I just read about it. The package comprises of a small mic, called Tinymic and a mixer, which shock-mounts to your cam, called Tinymix. These were displayed at NAB 2001 and the list price (total package) was $497 US. Has anyone seen this package or own it?

I think I read a review of the Tinymic itself about 6-8 months ago, but can't remember where. Might just have been someone who owned it saying on one of the boards that he had just found the perfect solution. Have you tried a google search?
