Hi guys, I have a couple cameras that I'm considering running with a CD box. I see the specs list 24fps as a supported frame rate. Does anyone know if this is a real 24fps or does it support 23.98 AND 24fps or only the 23.98 and not the 24fps.

One of my cameras can do either and the other camera can only do 23.98fps.

If anyone knows, can you please shed some light on this?

Dear Aaron,

The nanoFlash and Flash XDR are specifically designed to support 23.98 (also known as 23.976) and true 24 frames per second.

The same applies to 59.94 and true 60 frames per second.

This is not an accident, these "True" modes we added to support a specific need.

Now if someone could just get my JVC camera to do true 24fps. It baffles me why though would include 23.98 and not 24fps.

I'm really glad to know the XDR/Nano support both rates.
