So I need to purchase the macro lens for my Agus35 adapter.

I have a Sony TRV 950. Should I get a tiffen Macro adapter, that screws directly into the camcorder. That adds up to +7?

What would be the best Macro lens to go with?

I've been looking at a number of how to guides but it never details how the Macro connects to the project box...any information will be greatly appreciated.

I just went out and bought a macro lens.

It's a Tiffen 37mm.

There's 3 of them, +4, +2, +1

Now should I have got my hands on just one +7, or is it ok to stack them? I've heard you lose light when you stack?

Trevor,
I'm sorry but I don't have an answer about the stacking question. I had a question myself. Did you try your adapter without the macro? I use a Sony PD100A without a macro adapter and I believe my camera is identical to the TRV 900. My Sony, as all of the Sonys I've ever owned, can focus right up onto the front lens element. I would have guessed that your TRV950 would be similar. I'm just curious.
