View Full Version : The true intent of forums
Frank Granovski April 7th, 2004, 02:51 AM Like public school, the purpose isn't to educate but to mold us to conform with the norms. The learning just happens by accident. However, I think this Area 51 forum is meant to conform with the uncomformable. That's why I posted this. :-))
Graham Bernard April 7th, 2004, 05:07 AM . . .I knew yer were gonna post this . ..
Ted Springer April 7th, 2004, 04:14 PM Teaser topic! No archival value. "Meta discussion" (which is evil)! Must.... be.... deleted.... You're gonna have ta answer to the Hurd for this one, Frank! :)
Chris Hurd April 7th, 2004, 09:06 PM The Hurd neither confirms nor denies this forum's existence. If it's not there it can't be archived. What's black is white and what's white is read. It's not evil; it's in my head.

Haiku for a zen forum?
Ken Tanaka April 8th, 2004, 12:12 AM Patricia: I just -knew- someone would offer haiku in this thread. Frank's post somehow begs for it.
"Area 51" does not really conform the unconformable. That's impossible. Area 51 offers sanctuary to those most in need of hope, "truth", drama, and justice. It is Alice's Wonderland. The Kansas farm shrinks in the rear view mirror in Area 51.
Patricia Kim April 8th, 2004, 01:27 AM The devil made me do it?
Frank Granovski April 8th, 2004, 02:33 AM I have a story about beating off the Devil. :-))
Graham Bernard April 8th, 2004, 02:39 AM . . I betcha do too!
Frank Granovski April 8th, 2004, 02:45 AM It's 999 words, a short, and you know what you get when turn the numbers 999 upside down! :-((
Graham Bernard April 8th, 2004, 02:52 AM bbb . . that correct?
Frank Granovski April 8th, 2004, 02:55 AM Nope. :-))
Check your e-mail. :-))
Rob Lohman April 8th, 2004, 03:46 AM Buckle your seatbelts Dorethy... 'cause Kansas is going bye bye
Frank Granovski April 9th, 2004, 10:15 PM On second thought, forums are for entertainment, at least some of the time and all of the time here at Area 51. What do you think? :-))
