I don't quite understand all the features of Neo HD but here's my scene.
1. It's just me and my AVCHD files, no networking.
2. This is a hobby.
3. Don't need SDI hook-ups.

I think Neoscene would be adequate or am I missing something?

You are probably correct. However, you should Look to see if you would benefit from First Light which comes with Neo HD.

I'll go with Neoscene. I have 6 days left on my trial. It works great, BTW, in CS4. I tried some layered video, nothing fancy, and it played very well on my Dual Core.
