Ok,
this is my first wedding highlights video.
It was shot with an xh-a1 hand held and steadicam merlin on a "run and gun" style.
Your 2cents (....or more) are welcome and will be taken seriously in account.
Thanks,
George

I'm not convinced that the song was the best choice. It seemed a better match towards the end, but the editing didn't help to tie in the song with the images. I understand the 'sunset' imagery you were going for, but that wasn't enough of a tie for me to make an emotional connection with this couple. You have some very nice shots in there and there is some good energy overall. I would be careful with your close-up framing, you seem to like cutting of a person at the neck (which never looks good). The shot approaching the decorated car could have benefited from the Merlin or stabilizing software in post. The transition from warm sunny daylight to the reception aat 3:06 was a bit harsh due to color change (not sure if that was intentional). Spinning camera at 3:43 made me dizzy after the 2nd 'go-around'. The music seems to have some phasing issues. Could be poorly encoded. The ending shot wasn't the strongest. Blown out flowers in foreground obscuring the bride and groom.

Thank you for taking the time to review my video.
I'll go over the details you mentioned later and see if I can correct any...
Really appreciate your help!

I enjoyed the video. It was better than many wedding video's I've seen.

Lighting was a little hard, and the music didn't seem to fit the video.
Other than that, it was very nice!
Greek wedding, right?

Some nice shots in there, but as mentioned the lighing is a little hot in some areas, and the song choice could have been better, any maybe it was just me but i got a really weird sound, like a phaser or something, but that my have just been my end.
Nice shot, espically with the glide cam

I messed up the sound encoding but now I've fixed the problem and it sounds right (in the final dvd).
1. Yes it's a greek wedding
2. How can I correct the over exposed scenes. I was thinking of tiffen's dft plugins in order to use gradents and give it a better look. What would you suggest?
Thanks!
