I just completed a short video of the jellyfish at the National
Aquarium in Baltimore. The aquarium is located at the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore; it is a very nice location for a two day trip. I loved the jellyfish displays, so I made this video. Here is the link: Jellies on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/5783128)

Nice job - looks like you were in the tank. How did you manage to avoid glare? Were you allowed to bring a tripod?

Great aquarium, been there. Grewup in Baltimore too.

Hi Robert,

What a lovely piece of work. enjoyed it very much. Maybe you would get more viewings and comments if you moved it to the underwater overland forum.

Regards

Mick

They did allow me to bring in a tripod, which was a big help. I used a lightweight Velbon Stratos470. Glare was a major problem; I had to really watch where I set up the camcorder. I still got some glare when people walked by, and so I had to edit the footage to eliminate those shots. The aquarium has a lot of lighted signs (like neon) on many of the displays, so it was a challenge to keep the reflections out of the shots.
