i shot a concert using an HDV and a sony ex3 that uses mxf files, i made a project using the sony preset, but when i try to import HDV files it locks up and i have to close premiere.

it worked once, but now every time i try it locks up. should it work? or how can i edit these files together?

Create a HDV project, export as mpeg2 HD. It might fix your problem...just make sure to export at the same settings you recorded in
