I am an amatuer videographer, and have recently done a few small-scale video projects on DVD. Because I was not producing 1000 or more, I ended up burning the discs myself with standard 4.7 GB DVD-R discs, however, there are still alot of people with DVD drives that can't read these.
I have heard that the DVD-R 3.95 GB discs are much more compatible, almost as compatible as DVD-5 or DVD-9, but can anyone tell me if these 3.95 GB discs need a special authoring drive, or can I burn them with my Apple Superdrive?
If these are not compatible, can anyone recommend the best brand of 4.7 GB DVD-R that they have had the least compatibility issues with?
Thanks!
