...there's a new kid on the block, the VHoldR by Contour HD.

Since I shoot almost entirely car videos, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one.

This little gem cost $289 and is HIGH DEF. 1280 x 720 I tested it out and although the colors (RGB) are very vivid, the footage is MUCH better than anything that is currently out at twice the price.

I shot with it and I'm VERY pleased with the footage.

BHPhoto has them in stock. Check it out.

Could you upload some footage to YouTube? I'm thinking about getting one of these now. My current solution is duct taping an Aiptek A-HD to a bike helmet.

Just googled 'em and watched the BMX sample on their web site. Looks brilliant.

I'll film something car mounted tomorrow. Haven't shot anything "moving" with it in recent days that I have handy.

Besides some footage .. how do you attach it to a car? Inside.. outside? Thanks.

POV1 is waterproof, VHoldR is water resistant, meaning you cannot use for watersports windsurfing, surfing, diving etc. I had my hopes up till I found out that little tidbit. Looks like it will be great for dry land activities though. I'm still looking for a little cam that shoots HD with a high frame rate and is waterproof.
