something big on the horizon, maybe sooner than expected (at least by me).

I was happy with my 30D. Then I got a T2i for video. The big shock was how much better the IQ was for still pictures from the T2i. Now I'm ready for something better because I prefer the big and weather sealed body of the 30D size and the extra displays and controls.
