I am hoping to setup a menu where our company logo shows beside the selected menu item. I have been searching way too long to try and find a solution, has anyone achieved something like this or can direct me to a link that will guide me through it?

I have tried the layered PSD method in the help and modified the examle in JetDV's vol 2 #6 but using masks the logo naturally shows in the color from the color set, not the logo itself (unless I've missed a setting somewhere). I have also tried a method I found using "inverse selection," using the inactive button color to hide the logo. This works if you have a solid background, which unfortunately I don't.

I am using DVDA v5b.

Many Thanks

Thanks Edward. That was one of the examples I came across and tried. I don't know if I did something wrong but unfortunately the logo is masked with the color from the color set.

I added the logo before each menu item in the PNG file used as the highlight mask. It worked but the logo showed as a round disk (the logo is round) of the color from "color set 1" not the logo itself.

Did I miss something, do something wrong or is there another setting I should be using to enable the logo itself to display instead of the color from the mask?

I'm not sure of a way to show full color.

Here's a way that WOULD work if you don't have music on the menu:

Create SEVERAL menus - one each with the logo by each single item. Then as they move to different menu items, move to the menu with THAT logo position. That is doable in DVD Architect.
