I was curious if anyone knew where I could get a hood for my LCD monitor. It's the varizoom TFT model. Also, I have the KATA ccc-3333 (or something along those lines. . .it's the one on The Watchdog site) bag, and I know that you can attach additional camera bags to the sides, but is there some sort of general purpose pouch that can be attached the side?
If anyone knows where in Houston I can get this stuff ( I don't mind mail ordering, but these are low price items), let me know. Thanks.

Josh,
Take a look at the Hoodman folks (http://www.hoodmanusa.com/Industrial_Equipment.htm). They sell a variety of flexible hoods for viewfinders and lcd screens. I have one for my lcd monitor.
Re: general pouches and bags, I would imagine you could find a huge variety of them at any luggage or camera shop.

On the bags: I'm sure I could, but the thing I'm looking for is something that specifically attaches to the sides of my KATA bag. It has these. . .attachers on there, and I'd like something that would fit them.

Check the VariZoom web site or call them. They offer one for that monitor. It was included in the package that I bought so I suspect they will sell it separately.

Package? Did they include it with the monitor, or did you buy a whole bunch of stuff besides the monitor?

Just the basic stuff you'd need:
Monitor
Soft Case
Battery
Battery Charger
AC Adapter
Swivel Shoe Mount
Sun Shade
I think that's about it. Got the whole thing from B&H for $339.

All the KATA bags that attach to the CCC-3333 that I wrote about on the website can be found in the current KATA catalog. Get a catalog from any of the Watchdog sponsors that carry the KATA line, including Pro-Tape, ZGC and Zotz Digital. Their contact info is on the Sponsors page at www.dvinfo.net -- hope this helps,
