Hi,

I hear the WD-H37 II works well with the Canon HF/HG series camcorders, but what about the original WD H37?

There's one new one going in my area for quite a good price, but its NIB, so I can't test it my Canon HG20. Nevertheless if that thing spells the end of distortion and other nonsense from cheap 3rd party stuff then I'll go for it.

I have been using the WD-H43 for a while with my HG10, and with a step up ring it works great with my HG21 as well, I find no distortions whatsoever, the canon wide angle lenses are worth every penny...I keep it on whatever camcorder I am using at all times...
