I have a 20 minute project shot on an EX1 (1080 25p) that I have exported with the XDCAM 1080 25p codec.
The file comes out just above 5GB and looks nice and crisp as it should.
I have a number of motion templates (lower third title plates with jpgs and png) that also are crisp.
I "assumed" this would be the best format to import into DVD Studio Pro to author a DVD.
However, the text from the motion templates are terrible and the footage looks somewhat out of focus on the edges.
The reason I exported from FCP with the XDCAM as I found the motion text did not look bad.
When I tried all sorts of mpeg 4, h264 options the motion text sufferred the most.
What is the best format to export from FCP with motion graphics to author in a DVD using DVD Studio Pro?
