If this is not where i should post this thread, let me know.
I'm trying to create a Blu-Ray dvd from footage i shot from a Canon H1. I shot the footage in HD 30p and edited it in premiere using the HDV 1080p30 preset. I want to encode the video in Encore and produce a Blu-Ray disc.
The problem is that Encore has no 1440x1080p30 preset! I was hoping to keep the video in 1080p30 but i can only select 1440x1080i29.97, p23.976 or p24.
Also, according to the Blu-Ray specs, High-definition video may be stored on Blu-ray ROM discs with up to 1920x1080 pixel resolution at up to 60 frames per second interlaced or 24 frames per second progressive.
Is this an oversite?
Is 1440x1080i29.97 and 1440x1080p30 the same thing when the video is originally shot in p30?
Should i use 1440x1080i29.97?
