Now if the antenna was moving on either a transmitter or receiver in the wind, THAT could affect transmission and receiving ability. But wind alone? no. The antenna on the receiver was subject to the wind. The reason I asked is the interference I hear on the transmission is not like any interference I've heard in the past. Thanks... Matthias Krause June 14th, 2009, 07:40 PM Are you 100% sure that you are not hearing wind hitting the mic? In my experience most lav mics are very sensitive to wind, even with the proper protection. And sometimes that can sound like you are getting static through your wireless... Bill Rankin June 15th, 2009, 03:27 AM It's not wind noise on the lavalier. Cell phones and Blackberrys make a hideous noise and nasty interference when they hunt for the network which they do on a very irregular basis and ALWAYS at the worst time. People think that if they put them on "silent" there's no problem, ARRGGG! Turn them off, you can live without the damn thing for an hour when at a wedding ceremony. At a seminar I don't care, I'm usually not running audio ;-) but at a wedding, come on people, whats more important? Talking to your riend or being at your friends wedding?
