Looks like FE has a new solid state recorder coming soon. It uses Compact Flash (CF) memory cards (only two types are supported) to record to. I think I saw that list price was $999 for it. So with a couple of CF cards, not too bad in the price for solid state recording. Interesting.

At least here in Canada it's more expensive than Sony's MRC1k, but the fact that this can record straight to quicktime definetly interests me.
