If you're like me, you probably know how most of the video effects work in your chosen editing application. But you might not know how most (or any) of the audio effects work.

In this tutorial, me and Arlo show you how to turn a gain filter, high pass filter and a de-esser into a telephone like sound effect.

You also have a telephone filter master track effect in Garage Band that works very well. Very easy to export that audio and use it in FCP and vice versa.

or, peak 3K and pull out every thing out before and after that till you get there.
