David.. Cineform... Gurus please...

I can't be the only one waiting for Adobe CS4 (now 4.1) NeoScene support on the Mac. Any news?
Please... Pretty please?

Will it be released just in time for my 5D2 firmware upgrade? - I can hope, can't I

I'm so lonely

Tomaso,

CS4 Win and Mac use a similar importer structure. We are still trying to get through the vagaries of CS4 support on Win before we start working on CS4 Mac.

So is there really any advantage in using NeoScene on a Mac today? - at least with Premier Pro?

I'm just importing the .mov files into PPCS4.1... and suffering on the playback

On Mac definitely, especially for telecine removal, for cross-platform workflows, for support of the new Lumix GH1, etc. Regarding PPro-Mac, CineForm files work through the QT interface, but the CF importer for CS4 will add performance features that will be helpful when it is available.
