Hi.

I'm looking for recommendations on a new lcd computer display to replace my old crt.

System: pc, windows xp

Main uses: video editing (vegas pro 9), photo editing, watching movies (i don't own a tv, so this is also the screen i watch dvds on), web graphics, everyday use (internet, office, etc.) - i don't do gaming at all.

Preferred size: 24" or larger

Budget: $450

So far, after just some general googling and searching the forums, I have this on my comparison list (in no particular order):

Samsung 2493HM
Samsung 2693HM
NEC 24WMCX
Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP (which is actually going for a bit over my budget)

I surely welcome suggestions other than the four displays i've listed above. and if you want to ask me questions that might help you help me... please fire away.
