Hi Guys,
I am planning to make a photo slideshow for a wedding. I have Adobe Premiere CS3. How can I make a a vignetting effect like this:

Thank you,

I use Vegas for video editing, but if I am going to do a pure slideshow, I still tend to use a program JUST for that purpose... ProShow.... look at it... Pretty versatile and easy to use.

What I've done before in CS3 is use the Generate->Circle effect under Video Effects. You can set the blending mode to Stencil Alpha and it turns the circle into a kind of mask for the underlying image. Then feather out the edge until you get the effect you're going for.
The circle by itself works well for 4:3 footage. But if you're working in 16:9 or wider, it's best to duplicate the video track up onto another track and then apply the circle effects on each end of the two images. In other words, on Video1 I would import my image, apply the effect on the right hand side of the image, then I would copy the clip upward onto Video2, and move the center of the circle to the left-hand side of the image.
Works pretty well. Here are the before and after for me...

Thanks Aaron. That's what I'm looking for.
