I would like to make a shot that was filmed on a tripod, look like it is hand held. I would like a subtle movement, not Bourne trilogy style. How would this be done?

James Huenergardt May 15th, 2009, 09:46 AM The easiest way to accomplish this is in After Effects with a wiggle expression attached to the position. However, you'll have to make sure you have enough 'frame' to have the shot move a little, so you'll need to scale the shot up a bit. 10% or more should work fine depending on your wiggle parameters. I'm not in front of AE at the moment so I can't give you the exact steps to accomplish this, but you should be able to find something about the wiggle expression on the Net. |
