I posted this in digital but to no avail, trying it out here.
I'm shooting a short film. Using a white cloth that I want in various scenes to be covered with blood.
I'd test out the idea with adobe after effects, but problem is my pc is on it's last legs and i'm filming this now, and going to be editing in a few days.
Just want to clarify with people in the know here
Is this going to be possible in adobe after effects?
What's the possibility of me either
a) adding the blood splat's in digitaly with AE or (and more to my liking)
b) taking the blood shots from manually using fake blood on a another white cloth and adding them in to the shots later?
relatively simple?
I've only ever used AE to put in gun muzzle shots in the past and that was pretty simple, how will this compare?
BTW some of the cloth is saturated with fake blood (little over excitement while testing :) ) will I be ok in post with ae to mask the cloth to make it look clean again?
thanks
