I have a new unit with me for a week and the first thing i noticed is the washed out LCD screen. At first i thought the low light is pretty poor but I realised it is a mistake as the LCD has to be at an angle for correct viewing. Anyone having the same issues?
I'm comparing it with my EX1 which has a better viewing angle. I must say JVC got the form factor RIGHT. Lightweight and nice for Asian hands. The detached XLR module us aksi reakky sweet for travelling.

yea ur right - its deffo a consumder grade LCD on this camera - looks like corners were cut whereever possible - i bet the sony XDCAM codec licence makes up at least 50% of the cost of this cam
