Howdy from Texas,
It's really amazing how popular the Agus35 and Aldu35 threads have been. We're fairly certain that these types of discussions represent a whole new area of video making that probably should have its own dedicated discussion board.
So the plan is to create a new forum called "Alternative Imaging Methods (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=70)," and move the Agus35 and Aldu35 threads into it. The forum would also be open to other discussion topics such as Super 8mm filmmaking, using still images from a digicam to produce moving video, etc., anything that's beyond the generic camcorder experience.
Is anybody opposed to this idea? The Agus35 and Aldu35 threads in this forum would be replaced by re-directs to their new homes in Alternative Imaging Methods. That way, all of the outside links to these threads from around the Net won't be broken. Stephen van Vuuren, one of our experienced forum leaders, has volunteered to moderate. Please chime in here regarding this move. Thanks,
