Sorry if the is is OT. When I bought my EX1 I also bought a fair number of spare batteries. I have a Frezzi on-camera light I do not use very often that's powered by a now an old, sickly and very heavy battery belt. I'll need it at the end of the month when I'm riding with the police and I was thinking that it would be easier, cheaper and lighter to use one of my spare BP0U60s. How easy is it to short the battery internally? Anyone know of a plate to which I could attach the battery and then could solder the power cable? Last, there's five rear contacts on the battery. two marked + and two -. What should I know about the pin configurations?
