For a certain piece of footage. I filmed something and on retrospect it was fantastic, anyway of finding out what aperture/Shutter speed I had the settings on at the time?

Put a miniSD card in and push the photo button a little bit like you were going to take a photo.

Go into the PLAY menu settings and change the data code display:

MENU --> DISPLAY OPTIONS --> DATA CODE.

Then set this option to CAMERA DATA.

When you play back a tape and the data code display is on, you will see the shutter and aperture that were used, displayed. You can also see the same information (plus gain) by using the software DVMP 3.0 to capture or to view an HDV file:

DVMP Pro 3 - view and edit date/time stamp, datacode/datecode, timecode, and camera exposure details in HDV and DV AVI files (http://www.dvmp.co.uk/)

This is head-slappingly brilliant! Thank you!
