Meeting Chris Hurd!

Such a great down to earth guy.

Props to the guy who tends to the breeding ground of excellent visual artists.

Graet to hear - I'm sure you gave plenty of attendees their own starstruck moments Jason!

Meeting Jason was *my* starstruck moment at Re:Frame... he had literally just arrived after what must have been some thoroughly exhausting travel from the other side of the planet to speak in Austin, coming from the airport directly to the venue on 6th Street.

Everything I had heard about Jason -- that he's a class act from head to toe, an incredibly nice guy, gracious, eager to make friends, easy to talk to, and a tack-sharp world-class professional at the top of his game, turned out to be true. It was a real treat to meet him in person.

Jason's arrival at Re:Frame was the crowning moment of an amazing three days (and nights, heh) spent with an incredibly talented group of wedding filmmakers in my favorite big little city, Austin Texas. As always, it was a pleasure to match faces with familiar names, and J-Mag along with Patrick Moreau and Philip Bloom (who swapped nametags but we knew who was who) and the rest of the Re:Frame crew put on a memorable event. Well done, all y'all.

It was indeed, although I did not know who Chris was until after it was over! My associate at Media Design (Whom I believe Chris might know) filled me in later. Doh!

He was at the Canon table! I was there when Jmag met Chris - I swear Chris was like - what are you doing here? This is a long way from home, Jason! Too funny.
