Seth Bloombaum April 29th, 2009, 11:05 AM Assuming static slides, from within powerpoint: save as | png | every slide. Then throw those graphics on the timeline. If the slides build with text or images, the best thing is to redo the powerpoint so that each build is on a separate slide, then export. If there is important animation or video in the powerpoint, motion screen capture is about the only solution. Techsmith's Camtasia is an excellent product for this, and Vegas will see Camtasia's lossless screen cap codec (TSCC). BTW, it is very common for clients to create slides with text sizes that cannot be read at video resolutions. Jeff Harper April 29th, 2009, 11:06 AM Thanks Seth...painless! Ian Stark April 30th, 2009, 04:24 AM it is very common for clients to create slides with text sizes that cannot be read at video resolutions. So much so that I have on several occasions recreated the slides from scratch as text overlays in Vegas, completely losing the original PP content. Chargeable, of course . . . |
