There's suddenly a lot of 1/3" HD glass out there that fits either JVC or Sony interchangeable-lens cameras. I'm thinking of upgrading, but having a hard time picking. I'd love to see a technically rigorous shoot-out that focuses (if you'll pardon the pun) on the optics, rather than the camera.
I'd particularly love to see a price/quality comparison between:
- Fujinon TH13x3.5BRMU
- Fujinon Th17x5BRM
- Fujinon HTs18x4.2BRM
- Canon 14x4.5mm (new lens for the JVC HM700)
- Sony VCL308BWH 8x3.3mm (alternative lens for Sony Z7/S270)
Anyone willing to take this on?
