Hi all,
I will be shooting some video during Spring Break here on the Texas coast and I wanted to know whether there were any good camera gloves/covers for the DVX100? I am concerned about getting beer/water splashed on my camera...as well as salt and sand particles. I'd like something that will protect my camera WHILE I am shooting video. I already got a good water proof case.

I looked at KATA and didn't see anything for the DVX. Any ideas out there??

Trouble is, it's hard to tell from the pic if the PortaBrace slicker has room for an external mic perched on top (like an ME66 with a furry) for run and gun. Anybody know or have a work-a-round?

I'll find out in a few days:) Thanks for the suggestion!

I have the PB slicker for the DVX100/A.

In fact, the entire area above the top handle can be opened, allowing space for an external, camera-mounted mic to protrude if needed.

The Kata version should be the CRC-14. Personally I prefer Kata over PortaBrace but in the long run it's all good.

Porta Brace makes the most form fitting one.

Petrol Makes one for $ 79 as well
