View Full Version : Cheapest MiniDv Camera with AV-In Rota Akimoto March 7th, 2004, 10:46 PM sup, I was hoping to get an AutoX cam (http://www.autoxcam.com) but my miniDV camera doesnt have AV-in, so i was wondering whats the cheapest camera out there that has the AV-in capability. Thank you. Aaron Rosen March 8th, 2004, 07:45 PM I was lookin into this too. I need RCA (analogue) in as well. I was able to use, get this: a Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge hooked to a power converter in the car. Mobile computer equip. Hooked my Ogirional Canon Optura via Firewire to the DV Bridge to the helmet cam. Not as easy as a mini cam but it worked. Rota Akimoto March 8th, 2004, 11:47 PM Does this mean this camera has AV in?: A/V Dubbing Yes, Audio Dub in 12-bit Mode (SP Mode with Optional Remote) Line-In Recording No Inputs 1x IEEE-1394 (4-pin) Chris Hurd March 9th, 2004, 12:04 AM The A/V dubbing feature isn't really a guarantee of AV input in the way you're thinking about. The Canon ZR80 is now $399 list. That's the least expensive or close to it anyway. And it does have AV input. Hope this helps, |
