Are there any XLR adaptors which have something like a bracket for attaching/holding a mic?

The PDX-10 adaptor does this; it mounts on the camera's "intelligent" hot shoe. Awhile ago somebody was looking into whether it would work on other cameras, and if it were separately available, but I never head a report back.

Thanks, Boyd, but I meant those XLR adaptors like from Beachtek, etc.

Frank,

Had the same problem myself. How to mount the XLR adapter, a wireless and a ME66 (out of frame) on the cam. Couldn't find anyting so ended up making my own. Mine fits a GL2 but it may fit others. Let me know if you want a pic or two.

Sure, a couple of pics would be welcome.

That's why I suggested an angled bracket with a pistol grip. A small camera will get crowded and there will be nothing to secure the XLR cable to.

Look at the example shown at the bottom of the page. Any Flash bracket will work.

The Mini-Rover looks good---and I won't have to break the piggy-bank for one.
