OK a client of mine bought a set of Sennheiser ew100 UHF wireless mic systems. One is a SK 100 (transmitter) and the other a EK 100 (Receiver).

The "MIC in" port for the transmitter looks like a standard 1/8” audio jack.

2.)
He also bought a pair of Audio-Technica AT899cL4 Subminiature Omnidirectional Condensor Microphones.

The website has this as the connector description
"AT899cL4 -- less power module; 55" (1.4 m) cable terminated with Lemo connector for Sennheiser SK wireless systems"

Now the insert on the box says "terminated for use with Sennheiser SK wireless systems" so we figured it would work. The problem is it doesnt...

I am not an audio guy at all.. so I dont know what to do. I assume I am going to need some type of connector that will do a 3-pin Lemo connector to 1/8" stereo jack?!?

The AT899cL4 is terminated for the higher end Sennheiser wireless the SK system. If this helps, here is the wiring configuration for the AT899:

There are 2 wires and a shield in the AT899 Cable.
The White lead is the audio from the capsule.
The shield is common
The Red lead is supplies the bias voltage from the transmitter to operate the microphone's FET circuit.

I went to the Sennheiser website and looked up the ew100 series system and its owners manual. The sennheiser mnaula shows the mini 1/8 plug as having three connections.
Tip is mic + (Audio?)
Ring is line + (Line level audio?)
The sleeve is the shield or common.

I did not see any connection for bias.

You might contact them and see if they have connection diagrams for their system.
