Rob,
Good luck on that price point. One going for a little more on Ebay right now. That will be your best bet, but really they are worth more.

I'm looking for a Canon Xl2. Anyone upgrading to HD getting rid of one? I purchased by Xl1-s from Bill Ravens last year so I'm a safe buyer! Someone had one earlier for $3200 with a bunch of extras but I missed it.

We have recently switched some of our equipment around and no longer need quite a bit of our older stuff. This is a very quick post for the time being but please feel free to email or post for more details.

PD150- low hours- I believe about 100 on the tape count but I will verify for anybody interested. Looks near mint and works perfectly. I'm selling the unit with the lens hood and stock battery only, no other parts are included. Looking for $2200CDN

VX2000- mint condition and function sperfectly. Used as the fourth camera for wedding shoots and often got 3 tapes through it a month. Very low hours. Comes with everything original, including the memory card reader, USB cable, lens hood, and strap. Looking for $1900CDN

I need one of the above cameras for a wedding at the beginning of February but can ship it by the 5th of that month. The ther can go right away.

Sennheiser ME66/K6- works perfectly, very little use and no longer needed due to irivers being used for nearly all audio. Comes with extra elastics, stock windscreen and shotgun mount. Looking for $550CDN

Beyerdynamics shotgun MCE 86N(C)S- same description as above. Looking for $270CDN. BH has more info on both shotgun mics.

Sony 0.7 58mm wide angle lens with LSF-SF8 lens hood to allow wide angle lens to be attached without removing the lens hood from the PD150, vx2000, PD170 etc. Not looking to seperate, both mint condition. $230CDN for both.

Shipping to US destinations by buyers choice. Shipping to Canadian destinations can be any method but I prefer expresspost with full insurance and tracking. No taxes to either destination. Plenty of equipment has been sold on this forum before with no problems.

I would consider trades on the shotgun mics for a good wireless system, good telephoto lens and possibly other useful equipment (glidecam).

I am selling my Canon GL2 off. I tried selling it a few months back but the person couldn't come up with the payment in the end. I've been trying to find someone in my area to buy it but if all fails, I will sell it on here.

I have had the camera since late 2003 and it only has about 25 hours of use. I used it for some small projects but never really took advantage of having such a nice camera. I now have no need for the camera anymore.

Here is a list of what comes with it:

- Canon GL2 Camcorder
- Original Reference Manual
- BP-945 Battery
- BP-915 Battery
- 2 off brand, 2 hour batteries
- Maxell Head Cleaner
- UV Filter
- Small eye piece for Viewfinder
- Large eye piece for Viewfinder
- Canon Neck strap (never used)
- Canon Reference Book for PC usage
- Original Remote Control (hardly used)
- S-video cables
- AV Cables
- Lens Hood
- Battery Charger and additional hookups
- Canon VL-3 On Camera Light
- Raynox .3x Wide Angle Lens. ( I bought this for when
I used to film extreme sports. I hardly used it at
all) Not your typical shooting lens but I'll include
it.
- Original Canon Box with everything included

I am wanting to receive somewhere around $1300. I will make a deal however.

If anyone on this board is interested please send me an email at Louisvillemedia@yahoo.com

Thanks and take care board!

Hey Rick,

I'm going to be getting a HVX200. I'm just waiting to hear from Brian at Zotz Digital (the same person I bought my new XL2 from on June 30th). From what I've been reading and what he told me - that could be as soon as Tuesday or it could be mid January. Anyway. I will be selling my XL2 and had planned on posting it on the DVinfo.net Classified Section, but did not want to do so until I knew when I would have the other camcorder.

I've barely put any hours on the XL2 (maybe 6 Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes) and I love the camera, but I would like to try HD. If I had enough money, I would keep the XL2. It's never been taken outside and has basically been in two office locations since purchased. You can see pictures of it here:

http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic1.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic2.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic3.html

Since those pictures were taken, I've added a Manfrotto 523 Pro LANC control, which is REALLY nice and makes controlling the XL2 a breeze with one hand. It also eliminates any small bumps or vibration by placing your hands on the camera to zoom. Here's a link to the details on it:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=357848&is=REG&addedTroughType=search

Feel free to send me an email - derek1147 at Mac.com and we can talk (or write) about it.

Ok, so I have a PD150, but I could use a little extra cash right now, so I decided to put it up and ebay(http://cgi.ebay.ca/Sony-DSR-PD150-century-optics-55x-WA-and-more_W0QQitemZ7577476834QQcategoryZ20333QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and step down to a VX2000 or whatever you may have to offer. I don't really need the audio set up on my PD150, as I mainly shoot extreme sports.

I'm hoping to get about $2300 for my PD150, and grab a VX2000, for no more then $1550 so I can gain a little cash.

I'd LIKE to have the original box and accessories, but if not I'll still be interested.
E-mail me jeffevansdl@gmail.com if you have anything. Or reply to this topic.

After much consideration, I'm going to buy a HVX200 and am selling my XL2.

I've barely put any hours on the XL2 (maybe 6 Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes as those were highly recommend by Brian at Zotz) and I love the camera, but I would like to try HD. If I had enough money, I would keep the XL2. It's never been taken outside and has basically been in two office locations since purchased. You can see pictures of it here:

http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic1.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic2.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/firestore-pic3.html

I'd like to sell my XL2 with the following as a package, but I'd be happy to take individual offers on any of the items below (except the HC-3100 case as I think that should go with the XL2). Here are the items I would like to sell as a package:

item 1
XL2 and all the regular things that came with it in the box. By the way, I still have the box and all of the packing contents & paperwork that it came with. I did have to cut about a 4 inch by 8 inch place in the box to send the UPC to Canon for a promotion they were running. I purchased the XL2 new from Brain at Zotz Digital on 6/30/05.

item 2
HC-3100 case. I bought it "used" from a another forum member. I got it for a good deal and after I got it, judging from it's looks, it was probably used VERY little. And I've never used it. Here's a link to more details on it:
http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=7049A002

Here's a link to the transaction where I purchased it originally:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=51247

item 3
3 Lenmar (For Canon) LIC941 7.2v-6000mAh Lithium Ion Batteries.
Here's a link to those (I purchased them from Randy @ EVS).
http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=LIC941

item 4
1 Manfrotto 523Pro:
Here's a link to it (also purchased from Randy @ EVS).
http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=523PRO

Current Prices for the above (from reputable places like B&H, EVS or Zotz Digital):
XL2 with 20x - $3,999 (from B&H, EVS has it priced a few hundred higher)

HC-3100 case - $160 (I think selling it for what I paid would be fair, since that's what I paid, I paid the DVinfo.net forum member $160 to cover the shipping, and a little extra because he was a nice guy and allowed me to pay him after I got the case).

Lenmar Batteries - $89.95 x 3 = $269.85

Manfrotto 523 PRO - $389.95

The above totals about $4,800.

How about $3,800 for all of the above package?

I will post some current photos ASAP.

Here's a few links to two other items I sold through this forum. A DVinfo.net forum member bought the 16x because he was pleased with my accurate description and condition of the FireStore, not to mention the fact he wanted a 16x lens:

Everything has been sold except the Manfrotto LANC control. The buyer has one so that was not needed.

The LANC control is now for sale for $275. It was used less than 30 minutes.

Mike,

That's funny! and thanks for the compliment.

I will say that the Panasonic HVX200 is going to have some big shoes to fill.

I've really been on the fence for a while on getting a HD/HDV camera. I did not know until Thursday that I would be doing this after seeing some of Kaku's footage.

Up until that point I'd spent a LOT of time in all the various forums researching this decision.

I hope I made a good one!...????

Happy New Year to you and your family as well!

Hi all , here is my situation. I need a 3CCD camera, I am on disability, and not able to obtain leasing or financing through a bank. I want to do some freelance work, so I can eventually get off disability. I have a wife and 4 children to help support. I have some potential work lined up.
I was hoping to find some one out there that has a camera they could sell me on payments. I would sure appreciate the help. I know this is a big request, from the community, and I am new here, but I sure would appreciate the help…..

Also one of my sons is in the hospital, in the ICU at Lutheran Hospital here in Colorado with a rare disease called Guilian Barre Syndrome. Here is the link to the disease http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/gbs/detail_gbs.htm And he wants me to video his progress, day by day. He has a long road ahead but he is strong and will recover. When he does recover he wants to work with me, I am looking forward to that day.

If you need more information and proof of my disability please feel free to email at fxadvantage24@yahoo.com or you can also call me at 720-206-8267

Welcome to DV Info Net, Mike. I see this is your first post here. Regardless of the reasoning or the particular circumstances of your situation, it will be very very difficult to arrange an installment plan through a private purchase over the internet. Your best bet for finding this sort of arrangement, where you can buy with multiple payments spread out over time, is to find a seller in your area where you can meet each other face to face. Try looking through the local papers, such as a Green Sheet if they have that in your area, and see if you can make arrangements that way. Otherwise you're kind of limited to finding somebody through this site who happens to be local to your area and the chances of that are slim. Not impossible, but slim. Best of luck,

Mike Mckeough

Thank You Chris, I know my chances are slim, I was hoping maybe a dealer might have something, that they could work out with me. I have to try every option I might have. And in no means, would I do anything to miss represent my self here. I hope you will keep my post here, maybe I might get lucky and find what I need here.

Thank You
Mike

I forgot about posting my Brand New Century Wide Angle Adaptor yesterday. It's still brand new. I put it on my XL2 once and took it off yesterday when I was packing up all the stuff I just sold. It's never been outside and was used for a total of 10 minutes. They are selling at DVinfo.net sponsors sites for $700.

I'd like to sell this one for $650 and I'll pay shipping (inside the U.S.).

I know that's only $50 off list (plus the savings of shipping), but 10 minutes of very light use will save you enough to buy a couple of packs of quality DV tapes.

Here's a link to a post where I weighed the pro's & con's of getting a Century WA adaptor vs. a Canon 3x Lens. There are a couple of screen grabs towards the end of the thread of a room with and without the Century on and then a couple of grabs of a sunset I shot last week out my home studio window. This thread may help you decide if this is the right option for you:

I'd be willing to maybe go for $850 for the 14x lens.
