We are cleaning house and "movin' on up" to some more HD gear, so we have decided to part with some of the SD stuff.
We're also selling a PAL XL2 body (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?p=379173#post379173) and a Sony BetacamSP camera (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=53793).

For sale: Sony DSR-11 DVCAM deck
http://bssc.sel.sony.com/Professional/docs/brochures/dsr11.pdf

Comes with original box, vertical stand, power supply and remote control.

Asking $1600 CANADIAN ($1300 U.S.) or best offer.

The deck has spent most of its time as a "throughput" firewire converter for monitoring DV on an external monitor. The operation hours are high for this reason, but the actual tape run hours are moderately low.
For the most part this deck has only ever played Panasonic MQ tapes recorded by a DVX100. I've never had a head clog.
The other nice thing is that it is PAL/NTSC switchable and will play/record DV, miniDV, or DVCAM tapes. It has 4-pin firewire, composite in/out, s-video in/out, and RCA stereo in/out. It also has an EE option for digitizing straight from analog sources like DVD or VHS.

Hours meter:
OPERATION
392 x10H
DRUM RUN
41 x10H
TAPE RUN
30 x10H
THREADING
134 x10

Purchased late June 2005, arrived early July 2005. Has never been taken outside, and has basically just been on my XL2 about half of the time in a private office where only I used it. I would guess that the lens has less than 7 to 8 hours of use total.

Mint to Excellent +++ condition.

I paid $1,350 for it when I bought it new from Brian Longley at http://www.ZotzDigital.com, and he let me know he would be happy to verify this.

I'd like to sell it for $1,200

I did a search on eBay and there was only one at the time that I looked and the seller wanted $1,095 for it.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have and send you additional pictures if you like. The photos posted below may take a little longer to load because they are in 1280 x 960 size. I figured that anyone interested would like to see higher res images:

http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic1.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic2.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic3.html (a little blurry, but you get the picture... pun intended)
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic4.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic5.html

Specific Photos of the Lens are available upon request.

I still have the box and every single item it came with, such as the case, paperwork, lens caps, etc. Although I did have to cut the UPC off the box to send to Canon (didn't cut the box all the way through, just took the top layer off as precisely as I could).

I did notice a couple of forum members posting WTB's for this lens, so I will send them an email with a link to this classified as well.

Why am I selling it?
Good question. I'd want to know the same so here's why -
I've found out that I can do everything I want with the 20x that came stock with the Canon and would like to get a new Canon 3x lens or a .7x Century Adaptor to do some greenscreen work, so I can put the camera closer to the subject. Looking at some of my latest posts will verify this.

Canon XL1 Package (standard lens with 2 extra batteries and VL-10Li light!):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
• Canon XL1 – recently sent to Canon Irvine for routine cleaning / maintenance after a documentary film shoot. Works perfectly.
• Canon 16x zoom Image Stabilized lens with both lens caps
• Canon color viewfinder (standard on the XL1)
• Canon remote control (Canon WL-D77)
• Shoulder strap (never used, still sealed in plastic)
• CA-900 Compact Power Adapter
• DC-900 DC Coupler

• Operating manual (PDF format)
• ADDITIONAL ITEM: Canon VL-10Li light ($65 new @ B&H)
• ADDITIONAL ITEM: TWO Canon BP-930 batteries ($150 new @ B&H)
• Note: Sorry, I do not have the hood for the included 16x IS lens, as I use the hood from the 3x wide zoom (sold separately—see below).
• Condition: Very good condition. Optics are in excellent, scratch-free condition. No burned/stuck/dead/bad pixels. There is some “brassing” on parts of the rubberized surface where the camera is held. Also, a few surface scratches here and there. However, scratches obviously have no effect on the image quality. No known problems or issues.
• $1825 + actual shipping + 3% Paypal (if applicable)

• Iris is operated with aperture ring, six blades (auto-iris capability)
• Focusing is operated with focus ring
• A beautiful lens with Indie film-like controls!!

• $295 + shipping + 3% Paypal (if applicable)

Kata Bag for XL 1, XL 1s or XL 2
------------------------------
• Designed to hold a medium to large size camcorder, this bag is fully streamlined with no protruding pockets or bulges. The bag is slightly wider and higher in the viewfinder area and has a movable, removable divider

• I can’t figure out which model it is on the Kata website. It looks like the CCC-1 or CCC-10 but mine appears larger: It measures about 28” long, 11” tall (at its tallest) and 12” wide (at its widest). This bag accommodates the XL1 + my 16x manual lens + 3x wide lens + other batteries, chargers, shoulder mount, etc.
• Similar Kata bags retail for $230 - $325 new from B&H
• A few rub external marks here and there, but mostly excellent interior and exterior condition!
• Kata link: http://www.kata-bags.com/Item.asp?pid=3&cid=5&perentId=1&ProdLine=1

• Can also be used as a mount/support for a wireless mic receiver or the optional CH-910 dual battery charger (see below… I have that too!)
• Retails new for $155 from B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=146137&is=REG&addedTroughType=search)

• $90 + actual shipping + 3% Paypal (if applicable)

Canon CA-910 with DC-900 Coupler
----------------------------------

• Retails new for $115 from B&H

• Empire 5500mAh (BP-945 equivalent) $50

Note: I will offer a full warranty against DOA on all of the above items for sale. I have perfect feedback on eBay (100% @ 132 transactions) as well as on Fredmiranda.com (for Canon 35mm stuff – another costly hobby!!). My user ID on both sites is JAKE_SF. I prefer to sell the above equipment here on DVInfo to avoid the high eBay fees. PLUS, If buyer is unhappy within reasonable time limit (2 or 3 days of receipt), I will refund full price less shipping, once you return the item back to me. This is just a courtesy to give buyer greater comfort. Finally, I will do my best to approximate actual shipping charge (i.e., no gouging).

Thanks for looking and feel free to email me with any questions. I am happy to send any pictures of the above equipment... but please be patient as I have not taken them yet...

For anyone who is interested, I'm selling the Ultimate 35mm Adapter (http://www.holyzoo.com/content/35mm/) I built.

You may have seen this over in the alternative imaging board (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=70). The U35A is an imaging device which enables you to obtain shallow depth of field characteristics of 35mm film. It has an M42 mount for M42 lenses, and has been tested with, and works with the Canon XL2, CanonXL1, and Panasonic DVX100. This is a one of a kind device that I built, and I am not making any others. Check everything out thoroughly on the site, and message me if you're interested.

Cheers!

$4500 is a complete steal for everything you are offering.
