Michael Sheen September 17th, 2005, 02:55 PM I'm looking for the following items:
XL1/XL1s/XL2 body only. I'm not looking to buy a complete package. I will, however consider buying a complete package that comes with the standard lens, and other extras, but would prefer only the body.
Canon 16X maual servo lens
Century Optics 1.33 anamorphic converter.
Will consider other anamorphic setups for XL1.

Guest September 17th, 2005, 08:36 PM What price do you want for the case Matt.
Matt Washburn September 17th, 2005, 08:39 PM I'm looking for 120.00 for the case Derek.
Guest September 17th, 2005, 08:45 PM Matt,
Yeah, I'll take it, but I'd like you to go to a UPS store and send it COD. You can email me at derek1147@mac.com for my shipping address. You can send it that way from any of the UPS stores. I'll split the cost of shipping with you.
If you were a regular user here, I'd have no problem with paying in advance, but you just signed up.
In case you don't know how the COD thing works, I can tell you as that's how I bought a $500 Nikkor Lens from someone who did not have any feedback on eBay.
Let me know if this is OK, and you may want to post it here, so others will know if the item is still available or sold.
Guest September 17th, 2005, 08:47 PM Just out of curiosity, why are you selling?
Matt Washburn September 17th, 2005, 08:51 PM I sold the XL1 camera already, but the person who bought it didn't need the case. I simply need to sell the case now.
Matt Washburn September 17th, 2005, 08:52 PM :: sending you an email Derek::
Mel Williams September 17th, 2005, 10:19 PM I'm glad the XL2 made it safe and sound. I used 3 large bags of peanut foam!!!
Hope you enjoy the XL2.
I look forward to seeing your movie. All the best to you.
Regards,
Mel
Stephen Sawchuk September 18th, 2005, 09:29 AM Hey Matt,
I'd be leaving today from Birmingham, which is further south than Oxford. That cuts the time between us down a little bit to an hour, 15 minutes. Brighton looks to be about half-way between us.
I'll be on AIM all day, so let me know if that sounds good, and we'll take it from there.
Guest September 18th, 2005, 09:33 AM the case is sold
Xiaoli Wang September 18th, 2005, 10:03 AM Matt,
How long ago did you buy your 20D? Your kit now is less than $1600 new from B&H, not comparable at all to his XL2 package. Just a heads up...
Christopher Go September 18th, 2005, 06:11 PM Up for sale is one excellent condition Sony PVM-8042Q 8" Video Production Monitor. This monitor is excellent for use with your existing editing station for color reference or even out on the field for accurate framing and focus - runs equally well on either AC or battery power. Other features include 16:9/4:3 switchable aspect ratio, underscan, and many other features you can expect from a broadcast production monitor from Sony. This Sony Trinitron monitor was professionally calibrated and is in great working order.
I also have a very nice hard case for this Sony monitor, which protects the monitor during transport and can even be setup anywhere case and all.
Leave a post here or shoot me an email for more details/photos. Thanks!

Todd Kivimaki September 19th, 2005, 08:18 PM I'm looking to trade my VX2000 for a GL2. Although I do think the Sony camera is a better camera it is missing DV control, and I shoot 100% with the firestore devices, and to be honest it is a pain to hit record on the camera and then again on the Firestore. The GL2 has DV control, and is a good enough camera for my needs.
Condition on the VX2000: The camera is less than a year and a half old. I have owned it since April of this year, the previous owner had it for a year. He also shot only to a firestore (a fs-1) He mainly shot band shows, and this was his 3rd camera, used for backup. This is the reason he sold it to me.
What I have shot with the camera. I have done 5 wedding receptions. I used my GL2 during the ceremony because I feel more at home with the camera, and it has a 20x zoom. I used the vx2000 at the reception for the low light capabilities. I did run tape as well as a Firestore fs-4. So I have used the drums for 5 hours, never as a playback deck. I have also shot 3 house tours with the camera, with no tape, FS-4 only. I would feel safe saying the drums have no more then 10-12 hours on them tops.
I am looking to trade the VX2000 with 2 large batteries, and the charger.
I also have a King Pelican case or a smaller Kata case to trade.
I am looking for an equally clean GL2, if it had a little warranty left that would be better. Extra batteries or some sort of wide angle lens, or maybe a little cash.
Pictures of the camera can be seen here: http://www.videomemoriesinc.com/camera/
email me todd@videomemoriesinc.com or post in the thread.
Thanks,
Todd

Bryan McCullough September 20th, 2005, 09:20 AM Todd,
I'm very interested in this. I've got a babied GL2 (except for one little crack on the mic connection that breaks my heart) that I've had for about 2 years but haven't used much for the past 6 months since getting my FX1.
Your VX2000 would match my FX1 better for multicam shoots. I've got a couple very large batteries for it.
Todd Kivimaki September 20th, 2005, 09:46 AM Do you have any pics?
Bryan McCullough September 20th, 2005, 10:33 AM Do you have any pics?

Matt Trubac September 20th, 2005, 12:36 PM Hello,
I have a mint condition Panasonic AG-DVX100a for sale. The camera comes with all of its original accessories, including a blank AY-DVM63MQ tape, and the original box. The camera was purchased from B&H in April 2005. It only has 58 hours of use and is very clean. I have kept a B+W 010 MRC UV Haze filter on the camera (included) since it came out of the box. I have only used Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes in the camera.
I shoot weddings, and since buying the DVX, other forum members have recomended Sony VX and PD models due to their great low-light performance. I need to sell this camera to help pay for the Sony cams.
The camera also includes the original operating instructions, blank warranty card, all other paper work, and a copy of the original sales receipt from B&H.
Here are some pictures of the camera for sale:

Bryan McCullough September 20th, 2005, 01:22 PM My digital camera is at home (as I've discovered), so I'll take the GL2 home and post some pics tonight.
Todd Kivimaki September 20th, 2005, 01:25 PM Sounds good, Thanks
Giroud Francois September 20th, 2005, 01:32 PM i do not understand: i can control my sony DSR-DU1 from the vx2000 (as long as there is a tape inside).
for total control without tape, you need the pro model pd-150.
Jun Galinato September 20th, 2005, 03:54 PM I have a wide angle lens than came with my PD170 and used only once and then keep it in it's case. Email me if you are interested.
Todd Kivimaki September 20th, 2005, 05:31 PM I need control without a tape, I bought the FS-4 so I wouldn't wear on the heads, and using a tape would do so.
I would also consider selling the VX2000 if anyone is looking for one.
George Herrera September 20th, 2005, 06:32 PM Thank you guys here for the great forum. These items have been sold.

Chris Ferrer September 20th, 2005, 07:22 PM My church is looking to sell their 200a to buy other video goodies and asked if I could sell it for them. I dont have any pics yet but the camera is in great condition, both mechanically and comestically. It has been our second camera for over a year but recently we have downsized to smaller handheld cams.
It has the big hardshell case, the 3 battery packs & battery box that power it, I cant find an AC adapter so I dont think it has one. We also have the battery chargers, they are aftermarket but there are 3 of them.
As I said, it works great we just dont use it anymore.
I would like to get $1500 out of it. If anyone is interested, please call me on my cell in NC. 919.451.9110 or email chris@motionworks.tv
thanks,
Chris
