George Herrera September 14th, 2005, 11:26 AM I am sick of Bridezillas and their moms, snotty photographers and cheap customers. After 15 months I am retiring! At least from wedding vids.
I have two immaculate sony VX2000's in almost bullet-proof Pelican 1520 cases, two bogen 503 heads, two sets of bogen tripods, 2 NRG battery belts - recharged only 4 and 9 times respectively. Canon .7x WA lens. NRG Varilux camera light with several diffraction lenses. Beyer Dynamics MCE 86N(C)S Shotgun Mic. Beachtek DXA-4. Not pictured is a set of Smith Victor soft light type lights in its own case - used only twice. I will put those pics in after I get home from work tonight. If you would like to see the items I shot some pics last night and have them up on a page for viewing.

Matthew Wilson September 14th, 2005, 12:02 PM Item has sold.
Patrick Moreau September 14th, 2005, 12:20 PM I will take the shoulder support right away if this is still available.
Matt Trubac September 14th, 2005, 12:28 PM Welcome to the boards!
Leo Mahoney September 14th, 2005, 12:33 PM Greg Mclockland asked a good question about the head time on my XL1S. The total stand-by time is appox. 225 hr. with 55-70 hr. of record time. The deck has never been used as a playback VTR (an advantage of using FireStore)
Thanks for asking,
Leo
Eric James September 14th, 2005, 12:39 PM Hey Patrick,
Sorry, it sold just a couple seconds before your post. Can I interest you in a keyboard? ;)
Thanks,
Eric James
George Herrera September 14th, 2005, 12:43 PM Hello, New, and I'm afraid more than likely - short lived.
Thanks anyway Matt.
Tom Woodworth September 14th, 2005, 04:06 PM George,
Are you selling items individually or in a variety of "bundled" packages? I'd also like to see your asking price for each of the items. Thanks.
Matt Trubac September 14th, 2005, 05:03 PM Where are you located [edit: I see now in your profile texas]? I actually might be interested in some of the stuff you listed, if you are willing to sell individual pieces, and the prices are right (the light, the bogen 503 heads, although I don't really need the legs, I'm guessing they are a package deal?).
As a side note, the fact that you just joined the forum recently and your first post is to sell stuff... makes me a little leary. How do you propose to conduct the transaction?
Thank You
Meryem Ersoz September 14th, 2005, 05:04 PM how much for the tiffens?
Rick Forge September 14th, 2005, 06:27 PM George- I'd be interested in a tripod and 503 head as well as the shotgun mic. Do you have any prices? Does the mic have a windscreen?
Thanks, you can email me at forge@worldpath.net
Rick
Leo Mahoney September 14th, 2005, 06:40 PM Sorry, I do not plan on breaking up this camera package. If the XL1S sells alone, I will contact you about the filters. I bought them direct from Tiffen in the $60-$80 each range. Added to the XL1S they produce a remarkable picture.
Many thanks for the inquiry,
Leo
Danny Jones September 14th, 2005, 09:43 PM Interested in FS-1 if you break up package.
George Herrera September 14th, 2005, 09:54 PM I really have not thought about the prices individually, so I will wait a few days and see who is interested and try to contact them. I am in Deep South Texas, minute-man territory, and have only been able to sell two items to my friends. A ADVC-100 and a Bogen monopod. I am keeping a PD170 for myself.
I can see why you guys might be a little spooked, and to be honest the only reason I have joined is to sell these items. I will do all I can to ease your concerns about a "Tourist." I will look at my e-mail responses and give those of you who have responded my cell # so we can talk. I would also be willing to meet anyone in the area if by some chance you live nearby. I will be going to San Antonio on the 23rd-25th of this month in case anyone in that area may be interested. I will also put some information up on the pictures site regarding the packages i hope i can sell together. I am really not interested in paying for 12 different shipping charges. Thanks for you interest and I should be e-mailing you guys shortly.

Leo Mahoney September 15th, 2005, 09:08 AM Danny,
I would still like to offer the items as a package. If I do not have inquiries on the camera soon I may consider a price reduction, package break-up or remove the whole package. I need to buy a new workstation for my Avid, but I can't afford to low-ball the gear. I have your name in should I sell the FS1.
Thanks,
Leo
Patrick Moreau September 15th, 2005, 09:14 AM George,

Ed Kelly September 15th, 2005, 07:44 PM Bill,
are you interested in a part trade part cash deal??
Stephen Sawchuk September 15th, 2005, 08:11 PM Sorry for the late reply. Steady internet access is scarce around here. I'll be leaving to come back tomorrow, though.
I've not used any other tapes than Sony Premiums, including some Sony Premium Color Correction tapes.
The closest I can come to filling the gap is $500. If that's acceptable, I'm ready to pick a meeting place =)
Bill Edmunds September 15th, 2005, 08:29 PM Bill,
are you interested in a part trade part cash deal??
I'm not sure. What do you have in mind?

for
DVX100a w/ box & accessories + 1 Extra Battery + UV Filter
I would be able to meet on Sunday, but 4:30 is the earliest I'd be able to meet. Let me know if this works for you and where to go. I'd like to go on the terms that we both have the right to inspect the cameras before making the trade. Would you be able to provide the $500 in cash or money order? Also, have you kept a UV/Protection filter over the lens on your 2100?
Thank You
Andres Bant September 15th, 2005, 10:40 PM anyone have any ideas as to how much I could sell it for?
Dave Frank September 15th, 2005, 10:46 PM Just wanted to give a good bump for Mel's post! Just pulled the XL2 out of the package today! Immaculate condition, great price, great seller! Thank's again Mel!

Eric James September 16th, 2005, 01:00 AM Hey Andres,
The best bet would be to go on ebay and see what they are selling for. That will give you an idea of what you can get if you need to sell it quickly.
Thanks,
Eric James

Derrick Begin September 16th, 2005, 11:58 AM I have a Portabrace CTC-2 Traveler that I purchased from BH Photo. The bag has seen little action and is in excellent shape, brand new-ish.
I purchased the bag at 249.95 + tax. I am willing to sacrifice 200.00 for the bag plus the cost of shipping and handling which should be around 10-14 dollars.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Derrick Begin

Bill Edmunds September 16th, 2005, 03:31 PM Bill,
if you would like to email me a phone #, I can give you a call at your convenience and talk about it.
thanks,
You (and anyone else who is interested in the camera) can call me at 603-447-6752 before 9pm EST. Regarding a trade, I should state that I am really only interested in an HDV camera, not another SD camera.
Steve Nunez September 16th, 2005, 03:45 PM A good business opportunity has come my way and I need to raise $$$.....
....I bought this Sony FX1 2 weeks ago. I've only run 1 tape through it so far and I have everything as purchased new (box too.)
I barely got a chance to play with it......it's 100% mint- not a mark on it anywhere. I put a 72mm Tiffen UV Haze filter on it.
I'm not gonna eBay it- I'm hoping to sell it through this forum.
I'll also give the buyer a 2-DVD set of Elite Video's FX1-Z1U Made Easy.
This is a fantastic HDV camera and produces incredibly detailed/sharp images- the DVD set will help learn all the functions/options of the FX1.
I'm in NYC (Bronx) ~ if anyone wants to check it out personally.
Purchased at B&H for $3200 (receipts)
(Paypal verified- stevenyc1@aol.com <-----contact e-mail)
