Interested to know if anyone out there selling pdx10's still at reasonable prices. Seen one on E-bay used for $2000 and laughed.

yeah I realized that soon after I posted it. Sorry... :) I'm still getting used to how the Classifieds are listed. I'm thinking they should be archived somewhere else after a certain period of time. But who asked me, right?

I notice you're from Tulsa! That's my old stomping ground! I go back there from time to time.

Matrox has recently released a patch for the X100 compatibility with Dell 670 and other systems using the 7525 chipset. So, I'm going to keep my RT-X100 for a while longer.

It is working great with my Dell dual Xeon.

Hiya gang:

I have a great set of lights for beginners to intermediate filmmakers. They are what I've used when I first started out. They're rugged so you won't have to worry about location shooting.

1) ACME (No not the supermarket nor the company Wile. E. Coyote likes to use) triangle lighting system still in the convenient carry box. Comes with 3 stands, 3 reflectors and in line switches. Two 500w and one 250w. E-mail me if you want photos. They work great and I just used them for three point lighting on a documentary I just shot. $30.00 (I pay shipping)

2) Three (3) hardware store 350w lights with barn doors and highly polished reflectors that you can use as clamp-on lights or you can put them on lightstands. $10.00 each including the stands. I pay shipping. I have photos for these as well.

Reach out to me at Invfraudguy@yahoo.com. I will send you photos so you see what you are buying.

Happy shopping!

This is a Canon XL-1 with Canon EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto (no EF adapter), Gitzo G2380 Video Head, Gitzo G1220 Tripod and Pelican 1550 Case.

Everything works as the day I bought them. The viewfinder is new. There is a light scuff mark on the outside of the 16X lens from use but very minor. The optics on the 16X lens is in perfect condition. The Canon EF 75-300mm F 4-5.6 IS USM has been used twice and is in new condition. The Gitzo video head, tripod and case all have use (cosmetic wear) but otherwise works perfect. I am selling these because I just upgraded everything to the XL2 ..yahoooo. The microphone cord sheath has a split so there is tape wrapped around it and the same with the charger otherwise they work fine.

- Canon XL-1, all accessories, manual and original box
- Canon EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto
- Gitzo G1220 Tripod
- Gitzo G2380 Video Head
- Pelican 1550 Case

Complete package .........$2,100.00

Includes UPS ground shipping.

I'm looking to sell my G4 and am wondering what a fair price range would be that I should look toward selling it? If anyone could aid me, or would be willing to make an offer themselves, I'm open

Hard Drive Capacity: 80 GB
Mac OS 10.4, Tiger
1.25 GHz
Screen Size: 15 inches
Memory (RAM): 256 MB
Condition: Used

Have had this laptop computer for 1 year with light use (purchased July '04). Re-installed OSX and included iLife: iMovie HD, Garage Band, iDVD5, and iTunes.

The O and 0 keys are gone, and the side has a bit of a nick, though it doesnt effect operation. The laptop works flawlessly, just can be cleaned up a bit (dust and specs under the keys, etc...)

The case only has some slight signs of wear, as I said, but nothing really that noticeable, minor scratches. The screen is completely flawless. No dead pixels, or weird lighting issues. The battery still holds a good charge.

Sale includes the powerbook + standard accessories, AC adapter, mouse, and ethernet cable. I have a carrying case and a few other accessories back home as well. I don't have the original papers or box.

Eveything is in excellent condition and works perfect, though the zeppelin has a very small hole on the rear end cap and has had some very minor glue fixes. Asking $1650 for everything including shippping. Will sell the mic and blimp setup separately. $1250 for the mic and $500 for the blimp setup.

Will send pics upon request

Also selling an Audio Technica AT825 Stereo X-Y mic. Includes the case, windscreen and stereo XLR cable. Mic is like new. Asking $250 including shipping.

Hello, All.

I have an XL-1 in very good condition that I've kept as a backup body to my XL-1S. The only thing is, I haven't used it much as a backup and I'm not doing as much dual camera work as I thought I might.

This is the complete body only (sorry, no lens) plus basic accessories. Pickup a lens in this forum and you're ready to go.

* XL-1 body, Body Cap, Viewfinder, and Factory Mic.
* CA-900 Power Adapter and DC-900 DC Coupler. (Factory)
* SP-1-- Shoulder Pad. (Factory)
* WL-D2000 Wireless Controller. (Factory)

The last time I used it was two months ago when I shot a split screen helicopter night vision video with the both the XL-1 and and XL-1S mounted side by side on custom rig (see www.henry1.com for video)

I'm not sure what this package is worth without the lens so I'm entertaining offers. Go to my website for my email address (recently changed due to too much SPAM) www.ericlian.com.

I'm happy to answer any questions or take some pics and post to my website if necessary. USA only please.

Thanks for looking,

-Eric

One of my GL2's has a bad firewire/IEEE1394/i.Link port (bent pin). Canon wants too much to fix it... so I seek a camcorder with playback ability. Record function need not even work, just so long as it can play back MiniDV tapes. I am looking to spend $100 or under.

thanks

Hello,

I shoot weddings and have 2 DVX100a's. Sometimes I wonder if I should have purchased Sony DSR-PD170's for my work. I just came up with this thought... and wondered if anybody would want to trade their PD170 for a DVX100a.

My DVX's were purchased in April '05 and have approximatly 60-80 hours each. Not sure of the exact number on each right now but somewhere in there. They are in perfect condition, no scratches or scuffs, the lenses are perfect, put B+W UV Protection filters on as soon as I took the Cameras out of the boxes... I have only used Pana MQ 63 min tapes, and still have the original boxes and packing materials.

If I were to make a trade.. I'm in MI and would really like to inspect the camera for trade. I'm just tossing out an idea to see if there would be any interest. If so we can work from there.

Thanks,
Matt Trubac

Are you planning on selling your GL2 as well or just fixing it later? I might be interested in buying the GL2 if you're up for selling it. I buy damaged camcorders with the hope of being able to fix them myself. Let me know if you're interested.

Jim, check your local Best Buy, Circuit City or PC Richard stores for deals on demo miniDV camcorders- last I looked- I saw a few nearly new units for $149. Look for a "beat up" unit- I'm sure you'll score one for like $100.

Hi Matt,

This is probably a bit of a reach, but I was wondering if you had any interest in a Sony VX2100. I'm from Oxford, MI so meeting up shouldn't be a problem. We're about an hour and a half away from each other.

If you're at all interested, please let me know. I figured I'd put the offer out there, just in case.

Steve,

I don't know about a cam 4 cam trade. I think I can get somewhere around $2500 for my DVX's on Ebay, and can buy a new VX2100 for $2100-$2200.

Would you be willing to pay a little extra for the DVX? If so how much extra?

Thanks

Matt,

I forgot to mention that the VX2100 includes the NP-F750 battery. I bought it for $99, though I can't find a steady price that it's going for now. Looks to be upwards of $65.

So, how about the camera, the battery, plus $300 for your DVX?

More about my camera:

I bought it in June, 2004 from B&H. As you can tell from the pictures, everything that came with the camera, I've kept. To run through them, those items are:

- the original box,
- manual,
- power cord,
- battery,
- eye cup,
- remote,
- strap, and
- their original wrappers.

The camera has roughly 15 hours on it. I rarely used it for anything other than family videos. Everything looks like it just came out of the box (aside from a scuff on the detachable lens hood, which I made clear in a few pictures).

I'm going out of town, and won't be back until Friday night. Saturday, I'll be at the U of M football game all day (any chance you're going?). Sunday would be the earliest that I'm available to meet up.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Steve

I won't be at the UofM game saturday... Go State!

It will be interesting to see what MSU can pull against ND. Sorry to bring up a potentially sore subject...

Looking at completed listings on Ebay... a used VX2100 in mint condition tops out at about $1900. A mint DVX100a in original box with original paperwork and accessories goes for about $2500. I also have a B+W MultiCoated UV Filter, and two 5000mAH batteries for each camera in addition to the cameras original battery. One of the big batteries is a panasonic, the other 3 were purchased through DVXUser.com. The filter and 2 extra batteries are worth at least an additional $100.. (Close to $200 new).

After doing my research I came up with a $650 price gap between my DVX100a w/ accessories and your VX2100.

MY DVX's were purchased in March/April of 2005 from B&H.

What tapes have you been using in your VX2100.
