Britt Pena August 15th, 2005, 10:24 AM still looking. Thanks Rolland Elliott August 15th, 2005, 01:41 PM Hi I'll take the mic and windscreen. I sent you a private email. thanks, Rolland Elliott Rolland Elliott August 15th, 2005, 02:00 PM I'll offer $1250 I've seen several on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-GL2-Mini-DV-Camera-4-Batteries-Excellent-Cond_W0QQitemZ7536102560QQcategoryZ20330QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem in better condition go for $1400. That headphone jack will probably run $150 to get fixed. Peace, Rolland relliott2@carolina.rr.com 704-504-3528 Steven Gotz August 15th, 2005, 02:49 PM I moved the chairs up closer. I am OK so far, but with a movie that has a lot of fast action, it is a little overwhelming. I would really like a smaller TV. But I don't think it will be as easy to sell it as to trade it. Anybody? Bob Costa August 15th, 2005, 05:54 PM Where in Florida are you going? I have 52" Hitachi. Also, are you sure that you want to put the TV where you think you do? WHen I bought this house, I ended up with a completely different orientation than the last owners.... Steven Gotz August 15th, 2005, 06:02 PM Moving to the Orlando area. There were no previous owners. This is a model, with no TV anywhere sensible. A couple of cabinets that could hold a decent sized TV, but not a widescreen. The longest room in the house besides the Master bedroom is the den, at 14X11.5 feet. The TV is almost 2 feet deep, and the chairs need to be a foot or so from the wall to recline properly. So I get about 11 feet maximum from screen to eyes. We will probably try it out at the distance for a while, unless I can find someone in Dallas who would like to buy it for the price of a 50" of the same type of TV. Then I can just buy the new one in Florida. Who knows, I suppose we could get used to it. Our family room looks funny with the chairs puched up to the front and the couch tucked away behind it. Bob Costa August 15th, 2005, 06:18 PM 2 feet deep too much for me. Maybe you can build a little "window box" in the wall of your house, so that the TV sits in it "outside" the main walls and you don't lose any room space. :) Matthew Wilson August 15th, 2005, 06:33 PM Items are sold - Thanks Scott Lovejoy August 15th, 2005, 06:42 PM Bumpity bump bump. Ronald Lee August 15th, 2005, 09:51 PM Selling my copy of Producing Great Sound for Digital Video, 2nd Ed, by Jay Rose. This book is awesome and EVERYTHING you need to know about getting your own good sound (and more) is in there. Lots of real world tricks. Originally cost $45, selling for $40. My email is eb7g@ shaw.ca Photo of the book is here: http://members.shaw.ca/eb7g/Producingsound.jpg Steven Gotz August 15th, 2005, 10:00 PM Sorry. This is the Amazon page for that book: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1578202086/qid=1124164690/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-7706414-3667900?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 Much cheaper. David Yuen August 15th, 2005, 11:27 PM Originally cost $45, selling for $40. My email is eb7g@ shaw.caWhich currency is that? If Canadian, then you've got a better price than Amazon Canada (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/1578202086/qid=1124169448/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_2_1/701-9711840-2309107). Mick Isdes August 16th, 2005, 12:25 AM I may have a XL1 FS...it has had fresh updates from the factory and is like new (over three hundred dollars in tuneup). I have 6 batteries as this does use some juice, 5 are Canon brand and the other is a chub. It comes with all the extras including manual. email: idvfilms[@]hotmaildotcom Thanks Michael Selig August 16th, 2005, 02:09 AM Hi, Just wondering if you sold it yet? Thanks, Michael Selig Venice, Ca Ronald Lee August 16th, 2005, 07:28 AM No, it's USD. I suppose I'll take offers or make a deal with the DV sound recording set I'm selling. I paid full price for it. Steven Gotz August 16th, 2005, 07:36 AM Sorry, I didn't mean to be a spoiler, but coincidentally, CMP is advertising the book in an email I received today for only $29.22 - and that is direct from the publisher. Juan Parra August 16th, 2005, 09:18 AM No, it's USD. I suppose I'll take offers or make a deal with the DV sound recording set I'm selling. I paid full price for it. Used items should be sold at market price. Britt Pena August 16th, 2005, 09:19 AM Sent you an email. Hoping to hear back from you soon. Thanks! freedom_dv@surfglobal.net Xander Christ August 16th, 2005, 09:55 AM Sold this computer a while back. Thanks for the interest! Glenn Chan August 16th, 2005, 10:18 AM Great book. If you live in the US, I suggest you check out dplay.com for ordering information. If you order through there, Jay Rose (the author) will get a little commission for it. It costs $30 from amazon (see dplay.com). 2- When shipping across borders you gotta watch out for duties/customs/brokerage fees. It mostly sucks when shipping from US to canada, because Fedex and UPS Ground charge really high brokerage compared to Canada Post/USPS. Allen Lu August 16th, 2005, 10:50 AM Going for $1200. Joe Adams August 16th, 2005, 12:09 PM *post deleted by admin* *user account wiped by admin* Brian Handler August 16th, 2005, 12:16 PM So, do you do this everywhere? I'm glad to say I never touted my business with such disregard. Chris Hurd August 16th, 2005, 01:08 PM Sorry about that, fellows... every once in awhile, a commercial spammer gets past us, but in this case "measures have been taken" and we now resume our regular program. Ron Quizon August 16th, 2005, 01:33 PM Hello Everyone, I have a used DV Rig Pro for sale. I bought this earlier this year when I thought that I would be doing more weddings and it would come in handy. Well it does come in handy, but I haven't really booked many more weddings so I need to start selling stuff...especially since I just got married and am in need of the cash. I am asking for $450 or best offer, plus shipping. I can email you pictures if you like, but you'll have to give me a few days - the rig is at my parents house and I'll have to run over there and grab it. Here is a link to the current model of the dv rig pro www.dvrig.com Please either email me at ron@keysonthetable.com or respond here. Thanks for looking K. Forman August 16th, 2005, 01:36 PM And I was looking to buy a security surveilence system. What do I do now? George Bean August 16th, 2005, 02:09 PM Hi Ron, Is the dvrig pro you have for sale the same as the current model displayed on the website? If not what are the differences? What camera did you use this with? Thanks. Chris Hurd August 16th, 2005, 02:31 PM Yeah, there's always a comedian in the room! Call your local security systems integrator, Keith! ;-) Ron Quizon August 16th, 2005, 02:39 PM Hello George - I have been using the dv rig with a PD150, and on camera frezzi. I have the older model but here is a thread which describes the difference. http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=41407 Thanks George Bean August 16th, 2005, 03:46 PM Thanks for the info, let me do some research and see if it will work with my setup.
