Patrick Moreau January 12th, 2005, 05:26 PM I would strongly suggest checking ebay with a budget that low, and even there I think it will be tough. I was in your situation last month, you can find some ebay deals with defective recording or lcds that go for under $100 but thats all i found.
Jimmy Diebold January 12th, 2005, 05:55 PM Hi everyone,
The selling range after I finish my shoot is $1,600. (Taxes have been paid for already. That alone may save you another $200) I'll post pictures after the shoot so that you can check the maintained condition. The included accessories are the manufacturer basics it was boxed with:
- Lens Hood
- Lens Cap
- Eye Cup
- Shoulder Strap
- AC Cables
- DC Cables
- Video/Audio Cables
- AC Adapter/Battery Charger
- Battery
- Wireless Remote Control
- 1 Year Parts and Labor Warranty
- 90 Days Warranty on Video and Audio Heads
John Sandel January 12th, 2005, 06:14 PM Ronald, after trolling Ebay for weeks, the best I could do was a brand-new ZR80 for $275, with free shipping. (I have it now & it's, well, satisfactory; i.e., "not a DSR-20"). Before you buy, I recommend that at a minimum you:
1. Buy new; there are too many stories about camcorders' tape drives giving out when used as edit-devices.
2. Confirm that the camcorder you choose has Firewire out (some at the low end don't).
3. Consult the "qualified devices" table for your NLE. Although an NLE may be able to partially control a non-qualified device, some won't recognize some camcorders at all.

Dave Frank January 12th, 2005, 09:17 PM Hi guys, I am selling a matte box system I thought I would use, but other than setting it up for a test, I never needed it!
What I have is a Cinetactics Matteblox(mb100a). It is a soft matte box for video cameras which also includes a french flag and 2 extra 4x4" filter holders.
You can check it out here: http://cinetactics.com/mb100m.php
And see how it works here: http://cinetactics.com/mb100m-images.php
I also have a 4x4" Tiffen polarizer glass filter. Filter factor is between 2.3 and 2.8 (approx. +1.3 stops). It hasn't been used at all either.
You can check it out here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=58811&is=REG
Price for the Matteblox: $175, Tiffen filter: $115, for both: $275
Shipping is free!
Remember neither has had any use. If you have any questions feel free to email me: wun_trik_pony@comcast.net
Pete Wilie January 12th, 2005, 10:15 PM Dave,
I might be interested, but it seems you're a bit high for a used item.
It can be bought from evsonline.com (http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=MB100M) for only $155. I couldn't find it at B&H.
Dave Frank January 12th, 2005, 10:20 PM Pete,
If you bought the matteblox and the filter holders from EVS it would be 200 bucks including shipping. Mine is 25 bucks cheaper.
Rolland Elliott January 12th, 2005, 10:26 PM I am lowering my price to $399 for everything. If I don't get an offer here I guess I will e-bay it.
Peace, Rolland
Rob Jacobs January 13th, 2005, 12:36 AM $1,900. Will include everything previously listed except w.a. lens. This is in great shape. Box, manual & all accessories included.

Martin Archer-Shee January 13th, 2005, 09:40 AM Torrey
I recently bought and just received a 2X Century lens ( on this forum) and have learned that the number you mention in an earlier post (#C64453) is not a model number but rather a serial number. The item can be registered with Century and thus give some degree of protection.

Shane Miesse January 17th, 2005, 09:27 PM Hey guys im looking for a good used camera, post here or email me if you have one for sale, thanks
Ken Tanaka January 17th, 2005, 10:50 PM Shane,
It would be helpful to prospective sellers if you indicated where you're located, at least your country. Many will not want to hassle with international sales.
Shane Miesse January 17th, 2005, 10:52 PM im located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, thanks for the reminder
Adam Lubkin January 18th, 2005, 09:04 AM Yes, that's it. Priority Mail would be $4. Delivery confirmation is 45 cent extra. Insurance about a dollar extra.
Patrick Moreau January 18th, 2005, 11:05 AM Shane
I sent you an email about an XL1s I have with many extras, you could pick and choose which you were interested in.
Thanks
Patrick
Michael Ryu January 18th, 2005, 11:59 AM If it comes in the original box, etc., I’ll take it. Please email me to make an arrangement for payment and shipping. Thanks!

Adam Lubkin January 18th, 2005, 07:19 PM Mini-Rover is sold. Thanks.
Rob Jacobs January 18th, 2005, 07:37 PM Make Offer. I'm going back east on the 30th, I will be away for about 6 weeks so I'd like to sell this before I leave.
Robert Kirkpatrick January 19th, 2005, 11:18 AM Silly question: The picture in the link shows 2 mics. But the description only shows 1. How many are actually in the kit?
Brent Ray January 19th, 2005, 01:53 PM Look a little closer at that picture. One of the items is the lav mic and it's corresponding receiver box, the other item is a monitoring earpiece.
So I assume there is only one of these sets
Ronald Lee January 20th, 2005, 03:21 AM Yes, there is one VERY good lavalier mic included. Very good range and sensitivity.
It plugs into the transmitter with a mini plug. In fact any mic can plug into the transmitter with a mini plug, so it's versatile.
Eric Lian January 20th, 2005, 10:13 AM XL-1 owner since 1998 seeks an XL-1s body only with viewfinder and factory mic. I'd also like the battery charger and battery if you have them. If you don't, no big deal.
* I don't need the 16x lens. *
(I previously posted that I had a need for a 3x lens, but I just found and bought one from eBay).
Please be a DVinfo member with a track record in the forums. I will not consider equipment by people who registered just to sell their equipment and have no track record here.
Send me an email with a description of the equipment you have to offer, price, and how you would like to be paid.
OR - if you know where I can buy new or used XL-1, XL-1s bodies, please let me know.
Thanks for your help.

Chris Hurd January 20th, 2005, 12:42 PM Two of these lenses were available from the seller, one has sold and there's another one still available, in like-new condition. Price is still $800 firm; an excellent deal for a manual lens with a traditional analog iris ring.
Patrick Smith January 20th, 2005, 03:46 PM willing to part the canon vl10 light?
