John Inman July 7th, 2005, 08:15 AM SONY HDR-FX1 W/ASPECT PRO HD $2850.00 OR TRADE
I purchased the camcorder from B&H on November 30, 2004. It has been used less than 5 hours total. I purchased Aspect HD Pro online from Cineform.
All original packaging and accessories included plus a Sony AC-V700A Power Adapter/Charger, a Sony NP-F770 Info-Lithium Battery Pack and a Tiffen 72mm UV Protector Filter.
Buyer will be provided the original Aspect Pro HD Serial number and the Deactivate Key code which will allow the new owner to register with Cineform as the new registered owner.
I will consider a partial trade for Matrox RT-X100 hardware.
I have not worked professionally since 2002 and my current health problems prevent me from doing anything but being a hobbyist. I had plans that I would go back into Wedding Videography but I had a heart attack in March and had to have Cardiac bypass surgery. I have no plans for future work other than as a hobby. I don't need HDV.
I am located in Western North Carolina and will be happy personally show camcorder to anyone who is in the area.

Brian Keith July 7th, 2005, 02:14 PM Any new word on this??
Sharon Fraats July 7th, 2005, 03:12 PM I do not want to make this look like some kind of scam or anything close to it. I went to look at the equipment with a gaffer friend of his the one who sold him the Omnis. He looked over the mess in the basement and I have to say that I was shocked at how messy it was. We cleaned it up and sorted out the lights and came to the following conclusion.
First now we know why he had his heart set on the camera being sold as it is the really the only thing that is going to bring money into the house.
Stewart the gaffer bought back the Omnis as he did us good and will continue to help out him out when he needs to use the lights and Stewart’s camera. The Arri he says is good as it was bought last year. He just sold the ME-67, as there was a person in the area that was going to pay a fair market value.
The tripod is a Bogen/Manfrotto 3066, the other lights are old and I mean old the 1,000ks are from Comprehensive not much there.
Stewart says the following is worth selling:
1 Panasonic AG-DVC 200, w/gold mount Anton/Bauer battery plates, two trim line batteries, & 1 Fujion 65 mm x 123 ME 66K6 Sennheiser Shotgun w/ K6 module microphones included with camera, and AG DV 2000 DV tape deck with camera sale
1 ADVC-200 Bi-Directional Media Converter
1 Century Optics Wide Angle lens adaptor
1 Bogen 3066 head w/Manfrotto Tripod
1 Bogen heavy duty carrying case
1 Lowell omni light kit
1 Arri 300
12 Assorted lengths of Star Quad XLR cables
Assorted ground lifts, XLR pads and splitters
Sorry guys I do not know what to say or do….
Sharon

Philip Boyer July 8th, 2005, 05:44 AM Are the C stands not worth selling?
Sharon Fraats July 8th, 2005, 08:08 AM Not at all shipping would cost more that's what Stewart said as he gave them to him as they were being junked from his company. Yeah they would do in a pinch however they are not really easy to work with.

Matt Gettemeier July 9th, 2005, 10:55 AM Brand new Lectro 100 system with digital hybrid LM transmitter. I played with this just a few times over the last week... This was an impulse buy and I probably shouldn't have bought it right now. I got a special deal (only $750) so I bought it without thinking twice. I got the last system, so don't ask.
Fully insured shipping is $15 and I'll throw in the Remote Audio cable that was $29 (shipped from Trew) for FREE.
New Lectro 100 w/ cable and fully insured shipping. $740
If you've read any of my audio posts on the forums then you know I get some really great deals. I figure the best way to know about this stuff is to try it out... and then I'll pass an even better deal on to the forum buds after I check out the item.
Patrick King July 9th, 2005, 11:14 AM Matt,
I think I'd lake to buy this from you, but I need a little more info on what is included. Do you have photos or a B&H link that describes exactly what I'd be getting? Thanks!
Matt Gettemeier July 9th, 2005, 11:29 AM Patrick... this is the exact system. (LM frequency block 21)
CLICK here for the B&H link. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=316172&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation)
And here is the Remote Audio cable... which I chose over the Lectro cable because of the Neutrik terminators.
CLICK here for the Trew Audio link. (http://www.trewaudio.com/catalog/items/item602.htm)

Zach Mull July 10th, 2005, 12:55 AM Christopher,
Which version of Pro Tools LE are you including with the Mbox?
Patrick King July 10th, 2005, 06:38 AM Okay, you heard it guys... sale pending to Torrey.
Yeah, sorry Matt.
I started researching the link you sent and then got side-tracked with hurricane preparation. Woke this AM to see its worse than forecast yesterday. I'm likely to be off the net for a few days starting later this today; power frequently takes a major hit with these things. I'll check back on this thread and if its not gone, I'll get with you then Matt. Of course that $750 may be spent for me this afternoon.
Tommy Haupfear July 10th, 2005, 06:45 AM Still available and its more like 7 and 1/2 months left on the parts warranty (I originally quoted 6mos.) as this FX1 was purchased on Feb 22, 2005 from OneCall for $3299.99. I will include the invoice with purchase.
DJ Kinney July 10th, 2005, 10:38 AM May I ask why you're selling it after so little use? Just curious. If only I had the cash.

Tommy Haupfear July 10th, 2005, 04:41 PM DJ, as I mentioned above I just haven't had time to really invest in this cam and figured someone else might be able to put it to use. I also have a family vacation coming up and there is NO WAY my wife is letting me take such a large cam. :)
Next Sunday the FX1 goes to eBay.
Tim D Wright July 10th, 2005, 06:47 PM I have a GL2 that I have used for maybe an hour. With it I have the Canon DC 58 wide angle lens, the Century Optics 2X teleconverter,DM-50 mic, the VL-3 light, an Optex light (cheap one), a porta brace cover that is insulated for winter use and a lowepro case that it all goes in. I just never really got into it and after going back and forth for the last few months have decided to sell it. I would like to sell it all as a package and am asking $3000 Canadian. The 1 hour is about right as I just tried it out on a few things and the lenses and mic have not been used. There are 2 batteries the standard one and the bigger Canon one. If interested email me at canlogic at sympatico.ca.
Revised price $2700 Can or $2200 US buyer pays shipping and insurance.
David Chao July 10th, 2005, 07:34 PM I want to buy a clapboard. Where, online, can I find a clapboard? I have found many sites but I would like some recommendations for sites that I can trust.
Thanks,
David

Patrick King July 10th, 2005, 08:14 PM David,
Here are the B&H Slates (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=NavBar&A=search&Q=&ci=5726).
But what do you (or anyone) look for in a slate. I mean, there are B&W slates, color slates, chaulk slates, and slates with built in timers. What makes a difference and what's just gold plating?
