I wish I would have known this!
I bought this thing.

Actually, I did know it.
Tomas was extremely fair and a gentleman to deal with.
I would not hesitate to buy from him again.

My GL2 is almost like new, except the headphone socket is damaged. I haven't taken it to Canon, but I assume it shouldn't be too costly to repair. Only has 20 hours or so usage.

Apart from the little plastic pouch where the memory card came (I threw it out), all the items are included, even the original box.

2 EXTRA batteries (around 3-4h each) also included: BP-941 and BP-945 (both generic brands)

The camera was purchased in the US and I haven't registered the guarantee, so you can register it in your name.

I'm asking US$1,500 O.B.O. shipping not included

I will post pictures later on, including the headphone socket.

Post here or contact me at davser@hotmail.com

You can check out what this camera can deliver at my website theheadlesspuppy.com

I love the very filmic look you can achieve with this camera, but the HD100U is out soon...

I'm in Vancouver, so we can arrange to meet if you live nearby.

$1500(firm) includes the following

Canon GL2 with Factory Accessories
2 Year Extended Mack Warranty
3 BP-945 Replacement Batteries(Generic)
For $25 more, I will throw in a VL-10li light for camera.

I have original box, warranty card, mack warranty information. Only Sony premium tapes have been used. It has less than 30 hours of use and I used a DSR-11 to capture tapes, so no hours on capture.

I will accept paypal, if you pay the 2.9% fee plus shipping. I can also mail to about 45 major cities for free and you can pick it up locally and pay when you pick it up. Contact me for more information.

Thanks,

Jon

I posted an earlier classified for this and got a response, but Patrick Masters took my money and hasn't sent me the software.

So I'm still on the lookout for a used copy of Premiere 6.5 (legit please no bootlegs).

Of couse now I have even less money to offer thanks to Mr. Masters, who hasn't responded to emails. His last email was that he received my money order, but that was about a month ago.

Ah well...

If anyone can help, please do, the projects are piling up!

I have a legit version of Premiere 6.5 that is up for sale. I'll even throw in the Pinnacle Pro-One that came with it since I don't use it any more and the breakout box.

Make a reasonable offer. I'm cheap but not a floozie. *S*

Well, I actually am using a Pro-One DV that came with 6.0, so I actually don't need the old creaky (but still useful) RT card.

I'll send you an email off-board...thanks!

Don't know if ppro will work for you, but all items are still available.

I do have a copy of premiere 6.5 no longer in use, would be glad to sell it. It is registered to me and I am not sure of how adobe handles the registration transfer.

Let me know if interested, THANKS.

I just got another Canon 3X wide so I dont need this any more. It is super rare, I got it from someone who got it from NAB a couple years ago. I am not even sure if they ever went to the marketplace. It is the same adapter that Cavision sells now but it has the broadcast quality glass they use in their 2/3" camera adapters. Model # is BWA06X72II It is used but in great condition, even still has the original leather pouch. SUPER CLEAR glass with no distortion and crisp to the edges. First $150+ shipping takes it...

I need to sell this notebook within the next 2 days (by 06/24/2005). I paid $1,451 total for it and just recieved it on Monday this week, now something has come up and I no longer need it. I am selling it for $1099.00 USD on the agreement you pay shipping, anywhere in the world.

The company I bought it from has a 30-day money back gurentee on I, however with shipping costs and a restocking fee out of pocket, I would end up not even getting the $1099 I am selling it for back from them.

This is an extremely good deal, since I got it I have played BF2, HL2, and CS:S on it all running on high settings and it runs great, YOU CAN NOT FIND A LOWER PRICE FOR AN EQUAL SYSTEM, BRAND NEW OR USED.

To contact me, my email address is source_ex@hotmail.com which is also my MSN Messenger contact. You can also contact me via IRC, on irc.lcirc.net #lcirc on the nick SourceX.

I WILL ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL, my email address above is my PayPal address which payment for the notebook will be sent to. You can find pictures of the notebook from the manufacturer and high-res photos taken by myself at the bottom of this page.

I WILL SHIP THE NOTEBOOK THE SAME DAY I RECIEVE YOUR PAYMENT, as you see below, I am shipping it with NO OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLED, however I can install Microsoft Windows XP Pro with SP2 on it for free if you like.

Selling the Sony DVMC-DA1 Media Converter. This little box will convert your Ananlog Signals into Digital and Vice Versa. This thing sold for over $400 when we bought it 4 years ago. Its only been used like 10 times over the years and we no longer have use for it. This is a great little device and has many uses.

I am selling a mint condition Canon Optura 40 miniDV/still camera kit with $500 of extras included. It has been my "B" backup camera, but I bought it 11 months ago and have used it for less than 5 hours so don't need it. This would be an excellent camera for starting out in DV filmmaking since it includes some pro features.

Canon's web-site has the complete specs here:

http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=166&modelid=10078

or use the link on my photo page.

You can see my photo page of the camera, hard shell custom form fit case and extras here:

http://stephenv2.com/optura40sale/

It is a great camera with some unusual features not found on sub $1000 cameras:

(1) True 16:9 Widescreen image capture (unlike many camcorders, including pro models, you don't lose resolution shooting in 16:9 mode)
(2) Correct 16:9 Widescreen display on LCD (see pictures)
(3) Manual focus ring
(4) Manual audio levels
(5) Manual exposure control
(6) Full 2 Megapixel digital still camera mode

It includes all the original parts including paperwork and original box, packing materials PLUS this exhaustive list of extras:

(1) Hard-shell case with custom foam inserts (complete with Green Shark Logo (2) .05x Wide Angle Lens Adaptor with protective case
(3) UV Filter, Circular Polarizer (for making skies blue and getting rid of reflections) with two step-up rings
(4) Two Extra-long life Canon batteries
(5) Extra charger (so you can charge batteries while shooting with AC adaptor)
(6) Car DC power adaptor
(7) Digital Head Cleaning Cassette
(8) 256 MB SD Card (for still camera function)
(9) Sennheiser Fold-up Headphones (for high quality audio monitoring)
(10) Hoodman LCD Cover (for viewing the LCD outdoors)

$750. I have sold cameras here and dvxuser.com if you need references.

You can call me direct at 336-856-8684

This is my desk, the camera is on the right. (The only picture I have taken right now). If you would like any more pictures of the camera (for proof or for inquiries about quality) feel free to ask for them. The only items included in this sale are those listed at the top of this post.

There are no problems with the camera at this time. I bought the camera in September of 2003. I have shot approximately 50 hours of footage on the camera, and have used another camera for all capturing. I just received the XL1s body back from "repair" at MACK in New Jersey, so it is in tip top shape. The main PCB Assembly Main Board has been replaced, and maintenance has been performed on the tape heads. The reason I am selling it, is that I would like to buy a new camera (probably a Canon XL2).

I'm looking for $2500, or best offer. I will not separate any of the above items. B&H has quoted me about $2000, (low) as they will be reselling it.

I do not accept western union money order, nor will I ship outside of the United States. Payments will be held until the appropriate amount of time to verify them for authenticity has passed. Please, only contact me if you serious about the purchase. I'm hoping to find someone in Las Vegas, but I am not restricted to only Nevada residents. I will be putting the camera in my local newspaper two weeks from now if I have not sold the camera to one of the fine members on this board.

Thank You,
Bryan
