Dennis Vogel May 26th, 2005, 09:18 PM This stuff has been sold. Good luck. Dennis Tim Durham May 27th, 2005, 06:03 AM Hi, I'm new around here but I've been planning on buying an XL2 for about a month (gathering accessories on ebay) and when I first started seriously looking, there were two XL2's for sale on Ebay. TWO. Last night there were 281. And many starter packages under $4K now (with the 20x lens and the little junk nik-naks). Any ideas when a new release is due from Canon? Does this sort of info leak regularly? Should it have already? I'd actually wait a couple more weeks for the price of the XL2 to come down some more, rather than necessarily jumping at the new camera, whatever it is. Anybody? Tim Bob Costa May 27th, 2005, 06:23 AM I have an ATW-R600 system that I plan on selling. But I am headed out of town in a few minutes. Send em an email if interested and I will figure out a price on Tuesday. Or else make an offer. Chris Hurd May 27th, 2005, 06:25 AM Hi Tim, I would never assume anything from watching Ebay. Also I wouldn't worry about the price too much; these camcorders generally pay for themselves fairly quickly. Finially, if you're waiting, you're not creating. Hope this helps, Pete Bauer May 27th, 2005, 06:30 AM Hi Tim and welcome to DVinfo, Although an HD camera of some flavor is expected later this year, in keeping with Canon's usual practice there is no official information. We have a forum dedicated to speculation (and there's a lot of it!) called Area 51, so you may want to check that out: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=68 Also, if you're looking for the best value in price and reliable service, shop at one of the official DVinfo sponsors: http://www.dvinfo.net/sponsors/index.php Chris Hurd, the "Kennelmaster" (owner) around here, has specifically chosen these few companies because they are the best in the business. Enjoy! Buyer pays shipping. Email me if you're interested: filmfreak29@aol.com Bernard Diaz May 27th, 2005, 11:12 AM email sent. Bernard Deniz Turkmen May 27th, 2005, 11:42 AM The Bogen 501 and legs have been sold. So has the Senn. E945. Tim Durham May 27th, 2005, 12:58 PM OK, B&H is now down below $4K including the 20x (which I don't want). Anybody want to buy a 20x lens? It'll be brand new... Tim Bruce S. Yarock May 27th, 2005, 05:07 PM Tim, I checked ebay, and most of the posts are for accessories. Also, most of the adds for the xl2 are from the locust swarm of "on line " dealers, many with multiple adds.I didn't go past page 3, but didn't see many that looked like individuals selling their xl2. Bruce Yarock James Ramos May 27th, 2005, 11:57 PM I am the second owner of this particular camera, having purchased it from a weva member 1yr ago. Approx. 50hrs use. Some minor scratches around the tripod socket and flash mount, as to be expected from normal use. Including a UV filter which has been on the camera since its purchase. Also 2x 4hr batteries (1 canon & 1 3rd party) and all original accessories. Shipping (UPS) for 48 contiguous states would be $30.00US. Prefer paypal or US postal service money order. Photos: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ramosjames/album?.dir=c635&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ramosjames/my_photos Austin Puskas May 28th, 2005, 12:25 AM does it come with a warrenty? If I bought your camera could I buy a warrenty if I wanted for it, is there anyway I could? Austin Puskas May 28th, 2005, 12:29 AM I am willing to buy your camera, all I need to know is, does the camera come with a warrenty? If you could buy a 2 year warrenty for the camera then add that to the price would be fine. James Ramos May 28th, 2005, 12:36 AM There wa no additional warranty on the camera when I bought it, so unfortunately there is no warranty (manufacture/3rd party) to transfer. But the camera has been well cared for and there are no mechanical problems. Austin Puskas May 28th, 2005, 12:42 AM I had a canon zr 60 camera and it had no warrenty, and the next thing it broke down. I haven't paid for it to be fixed yet because it comes out to $250. Is there anyway you can get a extra warrenty added onto this camera? because thats all im looking for. James Ramos May 28th, 2005, 01:00 AM Having checked on this myself, an extended 3rd party (Mack) warranty can only be purchased from an authorized dealer (retailer) when the item is new or within 30 days from that retailer. There are no warranty companies that I know of that will cover an used item. I would however offer to anyone a 48hr inspection period to return the camera if it is not in good working order when received. Kevin Galliford May 28th, 2005, 06:12 AM Hey, I am looking for a DVX100a or a XL1s to purchase. I am in the process of moving in 2 days so I will need to buy in later next week once I get settled in my new home in Tennessee. :) I had a GL2 sold it and want to upgrade. I am looking to spend about $1950 or less on a XL1s, and $2,200 on a DVX100A. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks Guys! Tyge Floyd May 28th, 2005, 07:56 AM Kevin, I've forwarded this thread to a friend of mine who is considering selling his XL1s. His name is Joey, lives in North Carolina. Super guy, produces a TV show that airs on The Men's Channel. Deniz Turkmen May 28th, 2005, 08:01 AM The 2 Sony NPF970 batteries have been sold. Kevin Galliford May 28th, 2005, 11:56 AM Tyge, Thanks so much. I'll be looking forward to hearing from him. Dan Keaton May 29th, 2005, 07:58 AM Dear Tim, I would like to consider purchasing your new XL2 20x lens. You may send me an email, dan.keaton@morris.com Pete Bauer May 29th, 2005, 08:17 AM I moved this thread to the Private Classifieds area since that's where it is heading. Dan, I removed your personal phone number from your post. Probably be better to exchange that kind of information with each other by private email. Chad Solo May 29th, 2005, 05:40 PM I decided to keep these lights at this time. Chad Jason Chang May 30th, 2005, 04:41 AM Bob, Thank you for your reply. Is the ATW-R600 a camera-mount model? I am in event videography, and a camera-mount model would be more ideal. From what I understand, The Audio Technica ATW-R600 is just the model number for the receiver, not the entire package. Can you tell me exactly what you are sellking? I appreciate your time. Jason Bob Costa May 30th, 2005, 06:43 AM You are probably right. I tried to grab a model nuimber quick before I left town. But this unit has an AC powered base unit, so is proably not what you want. James Ramos May 30th, 2005, 12:09 PM Camera has been sold. Henry Cho May 30th, 2005, 04:38 PM the deck is no longer available... thanks. Matthew Wilson May 30th, 2005, 07:11 PM I have a Sennheiser ME66 in truly excellent condition. Comes with mic capsule, K6 power supply and foam windscreen. I would normally just throw it on Ebay but thought I'd let folks here have first crack at it. Asking $300 including shipping. Pics available on request. Also have a StarVision TM-SVT718MT 7" LCD TV Monitor w/ Built in TV Tuner. Resolution is 480x234 but looks pretty good and works well as a camera mount monitor. Does 4x3 and 16x9. Has RCA audio and video connectors. Comes with cables, remote and power supply. I've also got a small camera shoe mount and a 12V battery pack with cables tha twill allow you to power it on the camera. I think it was around $300 new plus another hundred for the battery and connectors etc. Any offers? You can email me at Matthew@jewsfortruth.org Patrick Smith May 30th, 2005, 07:13 PM I have a 2 Month old Kata CCC-101 Case for all cameras. It is brand new. Anyone have any idea how much that would sell for? I'm sending it into MACK to get the firewire fixed, and while they're at it, having them take a look at the tapeheads. So when I get it back, it should be in top condition (except for the firewire, its in pretty good condition right now). I was thinking $2500-$3000, but maybe I'm dreaming. Bob McCarthy May 31st, 2005, 08:46 AM I'm interested in a case for my DVC200. Please let me know if you have a case and would be willing to sell it separately. Thank you and good luck with your sale. I did sell the video and I should have posted that. Richard Lubash June 1st, 2005, 07:50 AM Thanks for the interest. The camera went a while back and I completely spaced the fact that I had listed it here. Sorry to have not noted it. We have one other DVC200 same shape as the one we listed but I'm waiting till the new JVC HD camera comes out to se if we are going to sell it. By-the-way Tommy why are you selling the FX1? I just picked up a Z1 about a week ago to check it out and it produces some nice images though not as nice for straight 4:3 DV as the DVC200. Thanks, Richard 2K-Plus Atlanta Tim Borek June 1st, 2005, 09:51 AM I have three (3) 7.2V, 1600mAh Li-Ion batteries, all in excellent condition. Each battery has been used about 15 times, stored at room temperature and never dropped. Two are made by Panasonic, and one is made by Sunpak. I frequently switch back and forth between manual and automatic shooting modes, so I can't guarantee runtimes; you can expect, however, roughly an hour of real-world use from each fully charged battery. I am selling these batteries because I prefer a single large (~5400 mAh) battery; I shoot weddings and can't afford to miss a shot while swapping batteries off the charger. The Panasonics sell for $60 each and the Sunpak sells for $50. I would like $75 for all three. I will pay for DHL or UPS Ground service shipping, and batteries will arrive fully charged. Payment by PayPal (www.paypal.com) only. (Sorry, but I cannot sell indivisually.) Thanks for reading! T.J. Gregg Golding June 1st, 2005, 10:39 AM I have $1200 to spend Ideally, the seller should live in the Tampa bay area so I could make sure the camera's not hollow(I'm in Clearwater Fl) Anyone? Matt Stahley June 1st, 2005, 11:15 AM Lon Ive never owned or touched an XL so I have no idea if it would fit. May fit with the lens detatched???? Jon Omiatek June 1st, 2005, 11:29 AM Do you have pictures? Let me know. Thanks, Jon Matt Stahley June 1st, 2005, 01:08 PM Jon email me if you want some pics. Tommy Haupfear June 1st, 2005, 01:55 PM Gregg, scroll back a few posts and I believe someone has a used PDX10 for sale and they're accepting offers. |
