Alex Beaupre April 21st, 2005, 10:33 AM Thank you for your reply, e-mail is sent. Alex B. Brooks Halladay April 21st, 2005, 11:08 AM I have a VX2100 in perfect working condition that I may be interested in selling. It is the newer improved version of the VX2000. I also have a Canon wide angle lens adapter and Raynox fisheye adapter, 4 batteries, external battery charger. I kept the original Sony box, manual, etc. I bought it at the beginning of 2004 from B&H photo. I paid about $3000 for everything new. Give me an offer if you're interested. Thanks, Brooks Jared Thomas April 21st, 2005, 11:39 AM awsome guys, thanks alot....that place in houston sounds cool, im gonna have to check it out. i live only about an hour from houston so i may go check it out. thanks again. Josh Bass April 21st, 2005, 11:49 AM There's another place in Houston that does it, called Video Tape Copy. I was quoted at $6.50 per reel (to transfer to tape, that is), with a $36 minimum. Jim Sofranko April 21st, 2005, 08:06 PM Anyone know if the Century .6x Wide Angle Adapter will fit the DVX 100A with 72mm threads? Chris Hour April 21st, 2005, 08:18 PM Just wanted to put a good word in for Richard, Item was just as desc and well packed and quickly shipped. Thanks Agian. (Gee kinda like ebay feedback eh!) Cheers all Chris Shawn Murphy April 22nd, 2005, 12:24 AM Maybe prices listed for everything would be helpful, what are you looking to get for the Firestore? Betsy Moore April 22nd, 2005, 12:35 AM Is this for the new Final Cut pro 5 with the HDV stuff? Betsy Moore April 22nd, 2005, 12:44 AM Is the glidecam 4000 still available? Jeffery Patch April 22nd, 2005, 11:28 AM I've got a GL1 that I have not been able to use nearly as much as I want to. I purchased it about a year ago and have used maybe 6 tape loads in it. I have a 58mm UV & Polarizer filter for it, stock battery, and an extra 8 hour battery. Comes in a hardshell aluminum case. I also have Sennheiser me66 shotgun mic, boom pole with a nice audiotechnica shockmount, xlr cable, and a xlr-mini adapter. I'm entertaining selling it so I'm not desperately trying to sell it. If I don't sell it I'll use it next year for Film School, but I might sell it for the right price. Feel free to send me an offer :) Thanks Chris Donnelly April 22nd, 2005, 11:32 AM For sale! Camera works great.. The lens that comes with it is a augeaniux and needs some serious adjusting... So really i'm just throwing the lens in with it.. But you could still use it if you wanted... Its just the measurments would be off.. - Arri 16mm /s with pilltone (old sound sync) -2 400 Ft mags -1 battery pack - 1 Matte Box - 1 varible speed motor - Wood Tripod with Fliud Head Open for Trade... Best offer! Great B roll camera!!! Takes great images! Chris Donnelly Charley Gallagher April 22nd, 2005, 12:26 PM DVD is the "Companion" to Video University's book "Wedding Video for Profit" and sells for $69. You can check it out on VU's site. Price is $35 plus shipping. I would say the video is excellent for newbies or people with only a half dozen or so weddings under their belt. It covers a lot of needed ground if you are new, as I am, with some great footage by some of the best in wedding videography. I have seen it many times and is time to pass it on. Matthew Nayman April 22nd, 2005, 12:36 PM Jeff, f you're still around, I'd liek to buy the rain cover Patrick King April 22nd, 2005, 02:42 PM Tyge, Looks like a great kit, but I think you're asking a little much. You've got $3960 (+shipping) in the kit (B&H prices) since you got a $300 rebate from Sony. And now you're asking for someone to buy it off you for $210 less than full retail, knowing that it's been hauled half-way round the world and back. Seems kinda steep. Why wouldn't I just pay the $210 and get direct recourse and warranty through Sony and B&H rather than have to work through you as the original buyer if something goes wrong. Adam Bray April 22nd, 2005, 03:42 PM whats that in US dollars? Tyge Floyd April 22nd, 2005, 05:26 PM Good point. I never even considered the rebate, not having it in hand yet makes it easy to forget. Any interest at $3250? Going once, going twice...going to eBay. Jay Silver April 22nd, 2005, 07:25 PM I'm interested in the diopter - please let me know what price you had in mind (if you still have it). -j Torrey C. Harris April 22nd, 2005, 07:45 PM i thank my fellow dvinfo.net user's for sticking up for me. I was in kansas for a while and wasn't even worried about a computer. I've spoken with comp-usa and the issue will be resolved asap. I didn't know about the fan issue or i would have let patrick know ahead of time. I will remain a southern gentleman and not throw mud. P.S. Thanks again, Greg Boston and Tyge Floyd Torrey C. Harris Patrick Moreau April 22nd, 2005, 07:59 PM I will also agree that Torrey has come through and things should be taken care of shortly. I hope he understands my motivation for posting here and my concern. Thanks to everybody who responded, it made waiting much easier.
