Hey all,
AKG 240S (15-25K) vs. HD-280Pro (8-25K).
Need to make this a quick decision, any users care to chime in on which one I should go after?
Thanks!

Gee, I might as well tell you what I'm doing with them also. Sorry fellas, long days recently....
I'll be buying three of one of the above models for monitoring audio in the field off of GL2s. Strictly field monitoring. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks again.

The 240's are open and will let in outside sound, they may in some circumstances even cause feedback.
I use closed headphones to monitor. The Sony 7506's for field use because they fold to a very small package and the AKG 271 when size doesn't matter, because besides being closed, they are extremely comfortable. They also have better isolation than the Sony's, the audio is switched off automatically when they are removed and the cord is removeable (they're alsoa few bucks more)
The HD280, I don't know

I second the 7506 vote. They are pretty much an industry standard anyway. I love em....those, or the Etymotics. I'm using my ER6's on a shoot here on Honolulu right now....Love them, too. The 7506's will sweat a little, as will all closed ear cans.

Thanks guys. The 7506's are in range of our budget and I'll add them in!
Thanks again!
