Does anyone have experience with buying or selling something thru amazon.com from their marketplace or z-shops with amazon payments.

Here is a website about their payment service which has a guarantee of up to $2,500 if an item isn't shipped or is materially differenct than the description. (It's an 8% flat fee for video stuff).

Any thoughts appreciated.

I do... everything's been good so far except for when i tried to buy an XL1s many times. Make sure the person isn't "just launched". Otherwise, they're probably going to screw you over. And don't pay outside of amazon. Be very careful...

It might have a good reputation or a $2500 "warranty" (but I
would definitely not depend on that!), but basically you need to
be just as careful as with any author "auction" or "marketplace"
site. People want to rip off other people and will do so everywhere
they can. It's that simple. As usual, if it is too good to be true
it usually is just that.
